LG Marion
Hey Conner, that is it! I´m an old "boy" from Germany, born 1943 in Rottenburg am Neckar. That video is wonderful. Glad you have done that fantastic walk. Believe it or not: I`ll look that fantastic video many, many times. Let the good times roll, boy!
Hello Conner, I love the way you explore the German villages. With shining eyes and joy, you have a completely different perspective on the places to us Germans. I really enjoy watching you do this and not just videos from or at VfB Stuttgart. Greetings from your fan named Jörg 😉
Hey Conner. 9:32 you where actually right. The flowers are hops for brewing beer. They are currently beeing harvested. Would be a nice idea for a vlog if you help a farmer with that work. I like your videos from city/town walks. It might be even more intresting with someone who knows the places! I also do such walks in the countryside looking for for nice spots to enjoy and a cofe brake. 😅 BR chris
@5:48 zehntscheuer is the place where people in the middle ages paid their natural taxes. so it means, when you have like 100 kilo wheat you had to give a tenth of that so 10 kilo. zehnt/zehntel = tenth, and scheuer is the building what means translated like barn. so you say like "tenth barn" wordly translated. and yes the barbed wire is the prison
You definetly have to visit Tübingen, they have a beautiful market place and castle and especially in the summer the city is packed with people in the evening, a lot of bars and students, also in the old botanical garden next to the Nonnenhaus
you are a likeable young man, polite, friendly, curious. You should study history and architecture, ideally in Tübingen. I also live in Baden-Württemberg and really like your videos. I know the cities you have visited recently and find your recordings very interesting 😃 greetings from Schwäbisch Gmünd
Really wonderful: You´ve been in the outside, at the prison and then back to the "Alte Welt" (old world). I´ve done that tour many many times in my youth and now I can see it like it looks 70 (!) years after. Thanks a lot!
You literally were 5 km away from my home. I'm from Hirschaut which is a village between Tübingen and Wurmlingen which is in turn like 2 km away from Rottenburg.
You can easy do 2parts of 1 city vlog. Like Explore Rottenburg part 1 and next day part 2 or something like that. Like for 1 part 20-25min. Better for you so you have more videos to upload, better algoryhtm and people cant complain that the videos are to long. Or even better you do 2-3 parts of 1city vlog just use the highlights and for those who want to see the walking and all you can upload the full vlog extra. Hope this helps you finding your style❤
Hey Conner, you have to come to Nördlingen (Bayern), it's nearby the east-border of Baden-Württemberg, this city is really worth to visit (as some tourists also know). This very old town has many Fachwerk-houses and the only (!) ancient wall in germany, that surrounds the whole city, where you can take a complete walk around. There is also the St. Georg-church, its tower is 90m high, from where you have a great view above the city and the "Ries", which is a landscape, which was built because of an impact about million years ago. It's really interessting. And the food they have is delicious. There was also a training for the Apollo-mission, in the 70's I think, because of the stones caused by the impact. There is the Rieskrater-museum, where you could go and learn more about the impact and the history of the landscape and the city. It rules, mate
Rottenburg must sound weird for an English native speaker... ("rotten" = verfault 🥴) and I haven't heard of it before. Just in the beginning you said "The 'famous' Rottenburg". I think you actually meant "Rothenburg ob der Tauber" which is a famous tourist destination in the northwest of Bavaria (at the border to Baden-Württemberg). You really should visit this beautiful town, too. I really like your videos and it reminds me that there are many places in Germany that are more beautiful than the city of Mönchengladbach where I live. But there are of course beautiful places in North Rhine-Westphalia, too. I just would recommend you to do a little research about the place you are going to visit before you go on your tour. I thought it was funny that in your last video about Horb you walked across a bridge and wondered what the name of the river might be. On that bridge there were dozens of flags saying "Neckarstadt Horb" (Neckar city Horb). Okay, in the end of your video you said "Horb am Neckar" - I guess the lady from the museum told you that. Greetings and love from Mönchengladbach, Sabine 😘
9:30 yes, yes, these are hops to make beer from. Normally they grow in the field on high scaffoldings, but they also grow really high in a garden. I have some in mine and barely can control them every year. 23:30 that scene in the church is so nice. Don't worry, you did behave very respectfull and did not disturb anyone. The old town is the pride of every german city. The houses are old, many of them are 300 and more years old and under strict laws. To keep them pretty is awfull expensive and still they have low ceilings and small rooms. Nobody wants to live in them. That is also the reason that you see so many foreigners in this areas. Turks and arab immigrants do not have much money and are happy to have cheap housing while Germans live in the new residential areas outside the towns.
Connor you musst visit the State of Saarland....its also a very intresting and beautyfull villages and Landscapes to explore .❤....by the Way i Love watching ur Videos ❤
At first I confused it with the pretty medieval town of Rothenburg. I have never heard of Rottenburg. But the south of Germany has a lot of pretty villages and small towns like this.
3 churches? Might be because Rottenburg is the seat of the catholic bishop of the diocese of Stuttgart. So nice you make those videos. Otherwise I had to get up from my chair and drive more than 20 minutes to Rottenburg. This way I can chill here at home.
Rottenburg is a nice but not that little City its 40 000 habitants big. In Baden Württemberg a bigger City. Its the mainseat of the catholic diocese in Ba-Wü so there is the cathedral-when you were in the service.
@FLORIAN-v3o * "einen" Doppelpunkt. * Nach jetz gehört ein Punkt * danach "Also" groß geschrieben, und ein Komma danach * Und jetzt geh mir nicht auf die Eier!
@FLORIAN-v3o Ja, da schau mal an. Jemand der promoviert hat und mehrere Sprachen fließend spricht, haut dich in die Pfanne. What a surprise. Ci vediamo, mon ami. 😘
Conner, you always make me think positively and lighten my mood when I'm depressed. It's nice to see how wonderful Germany still is. God bless you. ☺👋
I’m glad I can do this by just exploring these beautiful towns! Thank you 🙏
Huh, I just saw the video from Horb and the others from the last few days...and then the next one...what the heck😂😅 You are awesome

I just watched a guy walking through my home town for an hour 😅 it's so cute how he likes every little detail that I don't even notice anymore 😊
Very close to Tübingen, ... you'll love it!!
Hi Conner! You are lucky to have such an amazing trip in Germany! I never went there in my entire life. 😢 Be safe and have fun. Greeting from USA 🇺🇸🇧🇪
I‘m following you since a few months, and I live in Rottenburg am Neckar, i hope you hade a great visit :)

Hahaha no way you came to Tübingen too! Hope you enjoyed your short stay here :D
You have to visit Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It is the german Christmastown!
Agree, was there last March and previously 30 years ago, Great little town.
Dude, you're right where I live. 😀

Visit Tübingen!! Great Videos BTW

Greetings. 😊 I live in a small village 10 km away from Rottenburg! 😂

Love it, I often came there to visit my relatives ...

That’s a good idea. 1 highlight shorter video and one long
Sounds good

Weihnachtsstadt🌲
I love that conner is gimbaling around with us 😄
I life in Rottenburg, very nice Video😊
You have to visit Tübingen! Also I would love to show you Stuttgart.
9:30 The flowers are "Hopfen" they make beer out of it, you were right 👍
The Rottenburg prison's postal address is "Schloss 1". That's funny, because in German, Schloss means castle or lock.
........und im Englischen ist ein "castle" eben Burg oder Schloss. Dafür ist das "Kitchen" im Deutschen wiederrum etwas anderes als im Englischen.....
The fact that Conner visited Rottenburg earlier than me even though I only live 2 hours away makes me think. Next weekend I'm going on a trip there
Rottenburg brudi, nicht Rothenburg
@@horstoden7219 Mein ich

Rottenburg a. N., die alte Römer- und Bischofsstad,t ist genau so famous wie Rothenburg o. d. T.

You should go to Tübingen, next to Rottenburg. Rottenburg is nice but Tübingen is a miracle!
Connor you musst visit the State of Saarland....its also a very intresting and beautyfull villages and Landscapes to explore .❤....by the Way i Love watching ur Videos ❤
You´ve to come back (me too), cause you missed the beautiful marketplace, the dome, Klein Venedig, the Kapuzinertor, the Weggental and, and. and.
PLEASE come to Tübingen!
At first I confused it with the pretty medieval town of Rothenburg. I have never heard of Rottenburg. But the south of Germany has a lot of pretty villages and small towns like this.
You have to visit Tübingen!!
the gimble did wonders
You were right 9:36 min its Hopfen. The beer ingredient.
Hello,
next you can go to Rottweil (oldest town in Baden-Württemberg) and the day after to Bodensees (lake constance) Reichenau
6:25 this monstrous glas window. How big is it? It has no foundation on one side. I guess it is still safe to lean on it.
Rottenburg was a former town from the romans and there are still some arqelogical places to see
You missed Weggental ..a really beautiful Churchi
Great video ❤
But you dont have to rush on a Zebrastreifen when you're crossing the street. You have the right of the way😊
You absolutely have to visit the Maislabyrinth Wolfenhausen and the Mostbesen Wolfenhausen.
This is the real deal. Unfiltered and uncut.
Another beautiful city in BW is Schwäbisch Hall. It has a gorgeous medieval Altstadt. See if you can make it there, you won't regret it.
Near by there's the Wasserschloss in Glatt, a castle with big cakes! Go there!
Da liebe ich mir mein Rottenburg.
Man you should go for old spooking houses, or motels/ hotels
Rottenburg is my hometown
3 churches? Might be because Rottenburg is the seat of the catholic bishop of the diocese of Stuttgart.
So nice you make those videos. Otherwise I had to get up from my chair and drive more than 20 minutes to Rottenburg. This way I can chill here at home.
🙂👍
blue colour is special for houses
Tübingen!!! Home…❤
Could be possible you filmed the Bishop (23:28)
Wo sind die Markplatz- und Bistro-Typen?!
Simple comment to keep the algoryhtm running❤
9:33 that's exactly what they make beer out of, hops.
Will you be going to Berlin To watch Wwe's Bash in Berlin PLE?
You have to go to the Burg Hohenzollern
That was hop ;-)
You should visit the real Rot(h)enburg ob der Tauber. Actually, one of the most famous small medieval towns in the world.
Those were hops for beer.
My gf would be so lost if she would walk around like that on her own 😂
Go to Landsberg am Lech
IRL IRL IRL! 😛
Morgen Chef
9:33 It's hop
Komm zum Schloss Lichtenstein. Da kannst du schöne Videos drehen.
Shout out 72!
You missed many nice spots
F***, i live in Rottenburg since about 20 years and you were in areas i have never seen.
Stay a minute and sit down in a Church ⛪️ give Jesus the respect 🙏
Rottenburg is a nice but not that little City
its 40 000 habitants big.
In Baden Württemberg a bigger City.
Its the mainseat of the catholic diocese in Ba-Wü so there is the cathedral-when you were in the service.
