The screams are actually a lot more fitting than I was led to believe. As Coronation Day Peach's design is based on her design in the Pink Forest level, whixh can only be accesssed by applying a Game Genie to the ROM. Those screams aren't necessarily the screams of the entity of the Forest of Illusion, or even Peach, for the sake of it. Those screams are emitting as the game and world are breaking from the abuse of the Game Genie. That's also why the field takes on a pink hue at the end, and why Peach is covered in glitches once she starts screaming her non-existent lungs out.
Whoever voiced Peach/The King did an utterly fantastic job on this. The passion for the character they're providing the vocals and screams for could not be more clear in their VA

Honestly Dark Forest is one of my favourites in this mod, the beginning tune fading, the vocals on CD peach and the actual voice acting is absolutely amazing. In my top 3 of the mod.
For context on why Peach, a female, would refer to herself as "the king of this forest", in 'the/Coronation Day, Peach is taken by a cult and sacrificed to a malevolent forest god referred to as "The King", who uses her corpse as a vessel.
That's one of the theories, the hack is really cryptic and there are some theories trying to link all of the messages, weird things and all, such as one saying it's a meta allegory about how Nintendo treat their fans, especially with the message "DON'T YOU KNOW HACKING IS A SIN" you can discover by opening the rom's overworld with Lunar Magic and changing a color in the palette
The theory I have on this thing, that many others have as well, is that the "king" was angered when Mario made a cabin for Peach out of the trees. This pissed it off, to put it bluntly. Peach walks through, some stuff happens, she dies and is taken. And due to several endings, people believe this being is outside of time and space, killing every single version of Peach and Mario that ever enter the forest.
One of the few Peach songs in Mario’s Madness V2, and she doesn’t disappoint. Despite her ghastly appearance her voice is still majestic for such an intense song, even if she switches to screaming near the end. Excellent work on this epic ballad!

I knew Coronation Day would be in this mod, but I was not expecting the song to go that HARD. I love how you're thrown around the forest itself against your will, kind of how much you're thrown around eerily mysterious places in the original ROM Hack. I wasn't expecting Peach to have voice acting either, so that cutscene where you're thrown into the forest's cabin and back into the forest where its than glitched out like in the ROM hack was super faithful to the source material!

I noticed something at 1:55 that I've seen no one else talk about, so I guess I have to do it If you listen closely, you can hear CD Peach say "Stop it," since their in pain as their whole world starts to glitch out and breakdown, telling BF and GF to leave them to end the pain. i absolutely LOOVVVEEEE this songg!!!!!!! its definitely my favorite along side powerdown and overdue! i love coronation day and just everything about it, and this song is just SO AWESSOMMEEEE!! it fits the vibe of coronation day peach perfectly (for me at least), with how inTENSE, chaotic, and fast it is, like its just saying "You're DEAD, and there's nothing you can do about it except delay it.", its just so cool!!. also like everyones saying, the VA did an AMAZING job with the vocals! especially the screams! they're throat much hurt after all that TvT. i feel like if it werent "scripted" or just a rap battle, BF would 100% DIE to The King (or known as coronation peach).

For those wondering why Peach says 'I am the King of this forest' instead of ' i am the Queen of this forest' is because technicly this isint Peach. Its a demonic entity posessing Peach. So inreality whoever is marioneting Peach is the one claiming to be the King of this forest.
All tho in the original Cursed Game i believe the line was 'I am the God of this forest'
So why they turned God into King is beyond me.

If you listen closely, you can hear CD Peach say "Stop it," since their in pain as their whole world starts to glitch out and breakdown, telling BF and GF to leave them to end the pain. This also explains all of the screaming in this song, being not screams of anger, but pain.
