So 4 years ago on Christmas my girlfriends dad passed away and ever since she has hated Christmas. This morning she woke up to me playing this song in her living room and broke down crying, laughing and smiling. A few minutes later her mom pulled me off to the side and hugged me and thanked me because that was the first time she's seen her smile on Christmas since it happened. Proud Boyfriend.

Just Danced to this song, with my 16 year old, disabled daughter.. Had me bawling my eyes out.. When she was a toddler, doctors told us she wouldn't make it past 2 years old.. And here we are, at her "sweet 16".. God works in mysterious ways..🍻🍻🇺🇸🇺🇸

This song was first introduced to me in 2014 when I was 14 years old. My uncle who’s now passed tragically finally found happiness. And he died married to the love of his life doing what he loves. Bike week in Florida 15 months after his wedding we planned his funeral: I am a very accomplished musician and plaid the music for his wedding and funeral. I love you uncle bill. Not a day goes by that ur not missed.

I asked a girl out a week before homecoming. She did color guard and missed most of it but she came, this was the last slow dance. She was my first girlfriend and still is to this day my girlfriend. We danced to this song and it’s my first dance. To this day I can’t listen to it without losing my mind. I love her so much and it’s only been almost 5 months. I know that’s not very long but I honestly can’t imagine my life without her. We haven’t danced since. I get my license in a couple weeks though and I promised her first thing I’d do is take her to a field and hit the headlights and making up for all the songs she missed and my terrible dancing at that homecoming. When I was 20 years old, I experienced the worst heartbreak I have ever felt. I was hopeless, depressed, hurt, and confused. I was lower than I never knew was possible.
A few months after the breakup, I went to a concert.
Lee Brice was the closing act. He played all of his greatest hits.
At the end of the show, I was a bit disappointed.
He didn’t play the song I wanted him to play.
Then a few seconds later he said he had one more song.
The music started to play and he started to sing,
It was the first time in so long that I felt ok.
I saw everyone around me singing along and feeling the same things I was feeling.
It was one of the best moments of my life.
It was this song. I will never forget it.
Now at nearly 26, I am experiencing this kind of heartbreak again. I can only hope that a moment like this will come and help me feel ok.. even just for a moment.

If only I could express my thanks to Lee Brice for this song. I lost the woman I loved one year ago to suicide. I never loved anyone more than I did her and probably never will again. My friends, family and co-workers simply don't understand why I still grieve so much today. This song helps me to explain it a little bit more. There was nothing I wouldn't have done to spend my time with her. Yes, I can't dance at all but would stand in the middle of a crowd of thousands and do so just to be with her one more time!

I lost my husband to suicide 8 years ago- unless you've experienced the loss, it's impossible to understand the feelings a survivor of suicide has. It's impossible to explain those feelings to someone who hasn't lost their love to suicide. Losing someone to suicide is a completely different animal than losing someone any other way. Surviving suicide is an extremely lonely experience.
It's been 8 years and heart break still makes itself known-especially through music- this song for example.
