I took Brownie, my Pomeranian, the best friend I ever had in my life, to be put to sleep back in late 1986. He had been sleeping inside a small corner inside my brain where I had kept him as a treasured memory. He woke up a few days ago when I heard this song for the first time. I started to cry again. I only wish I could see him again sometime in the future.

I just lost my boy Yesterday around 5:00 p.m. they did a blood test and it came out he had a bad liver so it was either given the medicine and it would prolong his life or go ahead and put him down. It was hard for me because I grew up with that dog and it's crazy that I will never run into another one just like him. Love u Diesel fly high bubby Run free until we reunite again.

I keep two different pictures of him; one is of me and him when he was a puppy and one when he was 2 years old. 2016, my late grandma’s Boston terrier that I loved passed away and I bawled when my mom got the call from my aunt with the news that Buster was gone. And just last week Monday, my sister, brother-in-law, nephew, and niece just had their Great Dane Daisy put down and I cried like a baby when I found out. Yes, she wasn’t my dog, but she was my doggy niece and I loved her very much so. Babysat her a ton, too. Heck, she even waited for me outside the bathroom one time when I was at their house! I’m a sucker for dogs 🐶

I love this song! This made me cry because my uncles dog Hudson just died. Me and Hudson did everything together. He will always have a place in my heart. I miss him so much. I didn’t know that my heart could hurt as much as it does now. Hudson will always be my best friend and I was so blessed to have so many years with him. I love you Hudson❤️😘😘. I totally agree. Going through a second dog in the last year of her life that I love like my child. Heartbreaking. 8/6/20 is the day my babygirl (Sandy) was laid to rest. Love you my babygirl!!

This song gets me extremely emotional every time I listen to it because it's a great song and a sad song at the same time. Made me think of our previous dogs we've had. U know how men say my wife is my best friend that is true but in all reality there really is no better friend or buddy in life. If u own and take care of a dog they'll love you and if something happens and they can tell that your emotional about something they want to hang out and spend time with u you know. I'm a big Hunter and we've all bought like hunting dogs and what not along with a few rescue dogs. But other dogs out there that aren't that type of dog they're still really incredibly smart it's insane. That's the way God made them and that's how they're gonna be. Yeah we get angry at our dogs about something that they did but we still love them because there is no better buddy or friend in life than a dog

My mom's dog Buster just passed away 2wks ago from throat cancer due to his thyroid being bad , we knew it was coming but omg it still hurt so bad when he finally let go & crossed that rainbow bridge.. He was 10 in April he passed away July 20th
