II will forever have the ultimate love & respect for Carlos bringing the legend, Armando Peraza into his band. This master never really had the financial success of Mongo or Patato, but no one could touch him on bongos! No One!

I am truly thankful that I saw the band with Armando at Wembley stadium in '83 (I think) and he performed one fantastic solo bongo which lasted forever. R.I.P

Excelente performance WOW!!! Todos son unos monstruos!!! tengo una observación y es únicamente mi opinión. Creo q durante el solo de las percusiones, el timbalero Karl Perazzo abarcó un poco más de la cuenta. Comenzaron el solo los tres baterista, timbalero y congas después se quedaron interactuando un instante batería y timbales. Después vino el show del timbalero solo y muy bueno X cierto. Pero cuando le tocó su turno al conguero Don Armando Peraza, el timbalero no cedió espacio y durante todo el solo d congas siguió pegándole a los timbales. Es más, hasta intentó impresionar tocando timbales y congas al mismo tiempo. Yo no sé si ya estaba planeado así pero en mi opinión un musicazo y leyenda como Don Armando Peraza merecía su espacio solo para poder disfrutar su arte a full así como Karl Perazzo tuvo el suyo propio. Hay una versión x aqui más vieja d esta misma canción con Orestes Vilato en timbales (más d mi gusto) aquí cada quien tuvo su momento.
Tiene toda la razón caballero y sobre el video de la versión de Vilato 🔥🔥
Excelente interpretación, grandísimos músicos y el momento de las percusiones muy bueno pero también creo que el timbalero debió haber respetado el momento del maestro Armando Peraza quedándose callado o apoyar con discreción pero hizo todo lo contrario dando la impresión de querer opacar al maestro durante su momento. El tocar más fuerte hacer gestos y pegar de gritos no garantiza ganarse la atención y llegar al corazón del público y mucho menos intentar opacar a un compañero durante su momento de solo. El maestro Peraza seguramente no necesitaba hacer un despliegue de energía y ruido para cautivar al público, basta con admirar su sencillez su gran calidad y la pasión con la que toca las congas.
Muy buena observación.Pero que estaba Previsto así.
