The BEST Flagstaff highschool Pow Wow 2024! Watch from the front row! "WE ARE STILL HERE"

- Attended my first Flagstaff High School Pow Wow and it was quite the experience! While I typically prefer open grassy fields over indoor arenas, the chilly 47°F weather at 9 pm made me appreciate the indoor venue. Parking was free, being at a high school, and the entry fee was $7. They had water and canned soda for $1, conveniently sold by the high school on the second floor in the back of the gym. Outside the gym, there were vendors selling jewelry and other merchandise.
Most attendees opted for the bleachers, so camping chairs weren't necessary. The gym floor, covered with taped tarps, made the dance circle feel intimate and engaging. Despite the cozy space, I had a blast! I'm already looking forward to returning next year and catching up with friends from the northern Arizona rez who are more local.
Unfortunately, the Flagstaff High School Pow Wow coincided with the ASU Pow Wow, so I could only make it for one day. Nonetheless, it was a memorable experience!

@@IndigenousEventRecordings yes it is
@@aarondxn5330 I've been meaning to put all the drum names in the time code, it just takes a couple extra hours just to do that. I try to do that in every video like my Apache gold pow wow video, at least during the parts where I record the drums after grand entry. I'll get to it soon!
