I fall in love with the two main actors . Very overwhelming chemistry. They’re acting was top notch. So beautiful and endearing love story. Congratulations !
In the past, the princess was wrong. She was ready to divorce Pei Wenxuan for Su Rong Qing. She never trusted him, even believed that he poisoned her and ordered to kill him. Even in the present, when the truth was revealed, there was no regret by her. She loved Su Rong Qing no matter what kind of character he had. But for Pei Wenxuan, she always hesitated. She just used him because Pei Wenxuan was clever, intelligent, and most importantly, had the sense of judgment which she lacked. She was more practical and realistic; she was ready to sacrifice Pei Wenxuan. If I were Pei Wenxuan, after getting the second chance, I would have cut ties with her completely.
She asked for divorce when she found out he was in love with someone else and he refused telling her it was better for them politically to remain married. It was like a I don't necessarily want you, but no one else can have you type deal with him....PWX was the main cause of the problems in their first marriage for never telllng her his true feelings and letting her continue to misunderstand that he continued to love another woman for 19 years, dude stayed silent and spent his life brooding because he did not want to admit to falling in love with a royal causing both of them to live lonely lives. She was miserable, He was miserable but he would rather they be miserable "together" than let her go be happy with someone else

Also tbh I feel LR wasn’t really in love with su rong qing but was trying to replace and that he was the only one there for her since she had no one left and felt lonely. I do think that she also pitied him a bit but I don’t think she ever truly opened her heart to him.
