I think that folks take SUCH a harsh line on purposeful greening because the game, on it's face, is designed for children. And harming children, even in such an insubstantial and transient way, seems EEEEEEEVIL. And I'll be honest--if you've got a pre-teen, they likely will take being actively greened far more seriously, and be upset for far longer, than someone with a bit more emotional armor. I play TTR much differently than I do Diablo 4; I usually won't go out of my way to help someone in D4 but very often do in TT. I want the young'uns to have a positive experience, and I assume that most of the players are young, so my attitude & behaviors change.
