When I go into the IEP meeting, I am emotional! That's my kid! That's why having an advocate is wonderful besides their knowledge of FAPE. I told the IEP team when my kid entered kindergarten there was an issue but it took years of IEP meetings and finally threatening a lawsuit did my kid get what they needed.
