Watched this last night. Used the technique this morning under blue bird skies. Got a 48" fish off the weed edge (a new personal best for me). Thanks for the tips. You have my subscription. Cheers!
I watched this Thursday and did the snapping motion on Friday morning and caught a 36 inch on the 2nd cast, right beside the boat. 7 feet of water. Northwest PA. Great video
Sorry for the extremely late reply. We had been mostly inactive on this channel for a bit. We really appreciate you watching this video. Good luck fishing
Cool video, I fish for northern pike here in sweden with very large rubber baits and will try this, what rod and reel is being used in this video ? I use Calcutta 301 and 401D on Shimano Compre 9" XXH rods (16oz) Thank you
Love the Medusa, watched this video and went out and caught my first two rubber muskys on a mid Medusa ghost walleye. I have a question, do you change how you fish the Medusa when you use them at low light and at night? Thanks
These baits work great for the cold water period. Medussas and Bulldawgs are awesome options to work slow and you can work at almost any depth. Good luck fishing

Just used your advice from this video and a TRO hot perch Medussa to catch a 40 inch musky! Keep the videos coming! Thanks!
+D Mac That’s awesome. I hope you catch a few more this fall. Good luck and thanks for watching
The micro medussa is my favorite bait for big largemouth . 👍👍
They catch big musky also. Good luck fishing and thanks for watching
Excellent video, it’s a lot of work, but this was the only way we could get the muskies to eat on St. Clair.

Great tips, gonna start ripping that thing now.
It does work. Some guys still like straight retrieve but for us it's pull pause. Good luck
THANX! Cheers from Idaho"
If your Medusa or other soft baits get torn and ripped, super glue works great to repair them!

That's an awesome story. Usually we just slow them down and less aggressive rips. More pull pause.
JVR is the MAN in Vilas County
Thanks for the tips. What kind of rod were you using with that application?
For a reg Medussa a Heavy or XH rod will work just fine. If you go to a Husky or Pounder size bait I'd look at an XXH.
@@TeamRhinoOutdoors Thanks!
What rod speed/action on the rod?
You're not fishing "structure". You're fishing "cover". Buck Perry taught us this years ago.
Buck Perry is a legend. Love his spoon plugging book. Thanks for watching this video and good luck fishing
Great info! Is that a Lund Alaskan you're in?
Yes that is. Sweet boat for musky fishing. Thanks for watching and good luck
Always like
As always thank you for watching these videos. Good Luck
Is JVR using a mid-size medussa here?
I'm not exactly sure but he uses the Mids a lot and also the Regular size. Good Luck
I didn't see you catch a fish on it.
Is this video filmed in Todd Powell’s boat?
+Bart Hertzman No, This was filmed with Jeff Van Remortel a Guide in Northern WI.
Team Rhino Outdoors ok I could almost swear this is his boat
Is this bait for musky or what ? I know this isn’t a bass lure
+Pc Principal this size is usually for musky or northern pike. They make a micro size that is used for bass also
DUSSAS RULE
They certainly catch fish. Thanks for the support buddy.
My back started to hurt watching this video, I wouldn't last 15 minutes casting those baits.😂
They aren't real bad at all. With the equipment we have these days it makes it much easier. Good Luck Fishing
Get a jig ripper
literally just bought a medusa a hour ago and this pops up
+hipp0 hope you shopped at www.teamrhinooutdoors.com 😀. Thanks for watching and good luck.
How this bait work for colder water? 45-35 degree temps?
