I tend to use an India Cape-dyed Blue Dun Grey. ( cost about 15$ Canadian) He is right on the Brahma hen .I have the whole skin with chick-a-boo,but you can buy just the patch for much less. The thread I USED ON A SIZE 10 HOOK WAS 140 D ULTRA THREAD. Thanx for the pattern Rick. Just giving your viewers a choice in materials . Tight lines everybody😋
Hi Kenneth, Thanks for adding to the knowledge base. Very good info. -H
Gidday Rick. Nice work. Thankyou.
He's a great tier and does such a good job explaining. Thanks Ken -H
Really enjoyed the video lesson thank you
Glad you enjoyed it -H
Hi Rick - where did you get your vice extension? A combo Regal and Renzetti vice extension. Good to keep your head level with the fly! Thanks
I bought it years ago in Bend, OR. at the Flybox Flyshop.
I recently ordered another one from Wapsi.
The table I was tying on would not allow my c-clamp to work, so I borrowed the regal base for the video.
@@rickwollum3732 Thanks Rick. Where are you working these days…south of Livingston off the Yellowstone? I saw you there last! Thanks
