It may be a less expensive Martin but it is a brilliantly rounded instrument. My friend who records music for a living has one of these and a "cheap" Yamaha L series as his go-to for acoustic parts - they fit in pretty much all mixes and sound great with very minimal work.
Why is it that EVERY guitar that's demoed on this channel sounds warm, rich, full and expressive - like a great big musical hug! Yes the player is undoubtedly accomplished but I think it's probably more to do with the way his performance is mic'd up.
Its because this guy actually is a good guitarist. The other reviews is most oftenly made by stressed guys sucking at guitar, trying to sell you something. So there is a big difference in quality.
No they are pretty accurate demos, he just does a good job of mic-ing them - unlike most other demos that either record with a potato or capture nothing but the scraping sound of the pick striking the strings
Yes this chanel tune lilbit, I try some guitar and I own this model. In real this model got mid and high lil bit low but u can hear the low in this drs2 here sound more boom. I haven't change the strings, im gonna change it to poly 11 52 elixir to get smaller size and warmer sound ASAP gonna up date the sound of this guitar.
It’s the player AND the guitar. I have this same Martin DRS2. I’m nowhere NEAR this level of playing and I’ve never miked the guitar. . . .it really does sound VERY rich and warm unplugged, even with a perpetual newbie like me.
Very late to the party here: Solid sitka spruce top, solid sapele back & sides. I own one of these and they have the best guitar bang/buck ratio of any I've ever owned.
Ahahahah! of course as your's are all Mahogany therefore warmer sounding than of the Spruce top which will always be brighter sounding than Mahogany anytime anyhow.
Perfect demonstration !! ♥️
This guy gets the best out of every guitar he demos
The Spaniel Inquisition seriously though!
@@Derek-rv3ee lol!!
His notes are very clean. He shows us all what to aim for. Well played.
Awesome demo - I ordered one right after listening to this.
It's how the product is presented and played all throughout and that is the best part of the selling part.
I have this model, and it is quite a bargain - all solid wood, made in Mexico. It is the least expensive guitar I own, and sounds and records great.
Thank you very much:)
Agreed. Be hard pressed to find a better acoustic nder a grand.

Wow, great playing! He really makes that guitar sing.
Awesome sound, perfect play!!! Congrats!! 👏👏👏
Very calming sound
지금 쓰고 있는데 마틴 제품중에 저가인데도 소리 넘 충실하게 잘내줍니다 짱 좋아요
Nice sound
I wish you and I had a band together!
Nice I settled for this change strings etc
영상보고 drs2 구매했는데 진짜 가장 실제랑 비슷한 거 같아요. 연주도 너무 깔끔하고 멋져요~~
감사합니다^^

Hey which mic is this? Sounds great!
목마른~ 사슴이~ 시냇물~ 샘플 잘 들었습니다^^
this sounds way better than the drs1 what are the wood materials?

OK. I'm convinced the Martin DRS2 sounds somewhat brighter than my DRS1.

I am very sold on this guitar.
I have the first DRSGT model series run before it became DRSG/DRS2/D10E. All great just minor changes here and there.
Drs1 보다 2가 좀더 청량함이 섞인? 소리같아요
기타 구매시 제조년월이 최신걸 사야 하나요?
What mic are you using?
