Sick match up as usual AG! Both cars moving, surprised at that RS7. no real hardware mods and it was right there and even creeping top end. Expected the AMG to take it easier than this. Good run

the older ones seem to be faster when tuned. When the c6 V10TT came out back in the day it was king of that segment.

Even though the RS7 is a Gen behind the GT63 it’s amazing how it held up and even took the second race. Can’t be said for the current Gen RS7 though, let’s how the performance models fair though.

Yeah I think so also, I have Race catless down pipes, +4 upgraded turbos, stage 2 DME, intake and straight pipped on my RS7. The way his RS7 was pulling on the top end was not indicative of just an APR tune but who knows 😏
@@BrooklynsFinest_i have the same exact car with the same exact mods apr stg 2 and dp, and the car makes 640whp on pump, on 104 oct it makes 700whp, the top end in the rs7 is crazy
@@rob-wk2qu I upgraded to bigger SRM turbos when I did the the oil screen relocation, if you have not done the relocation or the recall, you may as well get upgrade the turbos and tune the transmission… I am high 800’s and needed to upgrade my engine mounts which unfortunately got my car black flagged at audi.

What tune are you running with your setup? Ds1? Because APR doesn’t make a stage 3 for this platform which sucks.
Love German, twin turbo supersedans. They r just monsters with Bentley level luxury. Delimited both cars would easily exceed 200mph

Badass race🔥 underpowered and heaviest of both M and Amg on power figures and still keeping up. this proofs how if only audi would've released the RS6/7 with same power figures as the competition stock and lighter how crazy the outcome would've been. Its the RS7 for me.
As a fellow RS7 a full bolt on RS7 is a nightmare and y'all don't realize because they are so rare. This is just a simple APR ots tune and side by side with a dp, intake, ECU, TCU and CPC tuned AMG. RS7's are anywhere from high 5 to mid 6 60-130 cars with bolt ons.

You guys can believe these guys modifications description all you want, but this isn't a stage 1 tune only. In the description Auto Glory didn't mention that it has a full catback exhaust, including downpipes, which is a stage 2 APR tune. I own and owned all 3 makers (AMG, M car and RS) and an OST tune alone RS7 is not keeping up with this AMG. Believe what you guys want, I actually drive these cars.
@@talkditingsdem5799 I checked the description and your comment about the APR exhaust. You’re wrong. The RS7 has an CATback exhaust. catback literally means after the catalytic converter. So no it doesn’t have upgraded downpipes and is only on a APR stage 1 tune.

The larger diameter wheels that come on Audi’s look way better than the small looking wheels on newer Merc’s (c63 looks silly with how small the wheels are for the big ass body)
The Mercedes has a little more grunt, but the RS7 has better aerodynamics. Both cars are monsters lol

Not 100 hp less. Those figures aren't accurate. Every race I've seen with and E63 OR GT63 against an RS7 has the amg blowing the RS7 away. Wouldn't be surprised if that RS7 was using race fuel.
@@CJ3000 amg intake is bullshit, oem intake catch air from de outside and those aftermarket intake such air in the engine bay, even is they are located in front of the air duck that run air in the oem intake normaly….what a poor design, ram air intake on the amg is supposed to help at high speed to get more velocity in air intake to ensure performance.

Stock Audis, excluding the RS3, are usually pretty disappointing. But this just goes to show how limiting their factory tunes are because man once you start messing with them they turn into rockets

My Audi RS7 performance runs low 11s in 1/4 mile and 3.2 0-60 so I wouldn’t say it’s disappointing at all. Stock for stock the gt63 has 40-50 more hp, and in this video had bolt ones yet the RS7 still took it second run with just a tune so..

Great runs as usual... but if it were me I think I rather run from a dig & worry about spinning & ending the race at 100 to 120 mph than running from 50 up to 160mph ... what if the bald tires pop at 160? .... & if you have THAT AMG $$$ what are you doing on bald tires 🤔
One of my friends is very fortunate, put it that way...anyways, he has the new 992 turbo, and he swaps new ones every 10k km on his ride lol and they look brand new. Same with his suvs, brand new winters every winter.
Based on this result and some of the previous races, I am thinking that street-tuned AMG should instead get a proper dyno tune. A stock rs7 with an OTS map should not be able to keep up with it like that.
