The only "civil unrest" that viewers are likely to encounter is the wrath of God from their spouses for the endless amount of money spent on survival gear... 😖 Other than that, life is beautiful. 👌
I just got Instagram not too long ago and I thought about just showing off my scenery pictures, but did think about showing off great gear. Once I saw the gear I followed you on Instagram real fast. Great way to keep up with what cool new gear you've gotten recently. Speaking of gear, that Schrade pen with the ferro rod and whistle is awesome! Definitely something to put into a get home bag or bug out bag.
The ones I have in the kits I own uses the Parker refills and have the glass breaker on one end, and the ink pen on the other end. They came in the kits I ordered and seem to be a nice ink pen and glass breaker. I think they are made by Uzi.
I got the nitecore over the shrade and i love the sleek design it still looks a bit tactical but inconspicuous at the same time. The thing with the shrade that put me off was people were saying the cap kept loosening in pocket, the Orings on the nitecore solve that i think
Nice video, btw there's Fisher Space pen refills with plastic end cap adapters that will fit pens that normally accept Parker refills. I personally swapped my Parker refill on my tactical pen like that. Cost me about 8 euros, I believe prices in the US shouldn't be much different in dollars
I have the schrade (scpen6 I think) that's like the 4 but without the fire starter, just has a whistle. Picked it up last year when DVOR had a big sale and free shipping for 8 bucks or so. I carry it all the time and like it, but I'm probably gonna switch it out for a bullet space pen.
Love that 1st Schrade as it has a multifunctional capability the others don't really have. Now any of them would be great to win though. ol greybeard dino
I'm eyeing the crkt tao 2 pen, it has a sleek design and doesnt really stand out as much as most tac pens. Although it costs like twice as much as these ones.
I've never had a tactical pen before, I usually just use whatever pen i can find lying around at work. My family always steals my nice pens and use up all the ink, lol.
What if I was already following you on Instagram? Either way, the ferro rod and striker bit is pretty cool. For daily use though, I honestly prefer a simple cross pen, precisely because it doesn't stand out as an unusual pen. If I need a last ditch weapon though, it will do the job.
Sorry Pal for this comment, but wearing a Black Shirt showing darkened pens really is not a good idea. Also show the pens more than all of you. Showing a close up of the pens try to keep the object Centered in the frame. Hope this comment made sense.
I've had the first Schrade and the Uzi. The Schrade is way too heavy to ever be practical honestly. The handcuff key on the Uzi barely works (used it when working security, barely worked on my cuffs and never worked on the cuffs of the LEO's I worked with). I wouldn't trust the Schrade or Uzi for anything except a blunt object... But, the ferro rod on the Schrade did work OK. I hate to say it, but the Gerber looks the best to me.
Good job on making a higher quality video!! Love your reviews.. it just seems that there was too little camera focus on the pens themselves.. and too much focus on the zoomed out picture.. Keep doing what u do man.. 👍👍 Nothing but high 5's amigo👏
i like the schrades. not as tactical looking but I heard now that they can't be taken on planes anymore? maybe you could talk your way on with one thats just smooth like the schrade? not sure. I have an older uzi model that i'm sure they would take away from me lol
Living Survival haha. mine is really aggressive. has a glass breaker on one end and hidden handcuff key inside the other. I believe it's called version 6 or something 6
3:37 you said agressive knife. I almost got excited for a pen knife! Also, you said the Gerber was the second product you liked...buuuut you've reviewed and liked the "dime"...anyway, No instagram :( big fan though!!
I forgot about the Dime. Yes another good Gerber product. I am wanting to review their new multi-tool which I think will be a good one. And, yes I said knife LOL. Actually I do have a Boker pen knife that has a tablet tip on the other end.
kind of is a knife because you can actually stab people with the crown it was designed for female users to catch the dna of attackers so she could give it to the police and get them tracked
Barrandill T'Anathlas i have carried the second schrade pen (scpenbk) daily for almost a year, still on the first ink cartridge, and it has never failed to write on any regular writing surface or even some i didnt expect it to. 10/10 on paper, wood, soft plastic, cardboard etc compared to a Bic pen
i'm fallowing your Instagram iv been wanting to get a tactical pen for a while i always carry one at work and i brake them all the time i agree with you pic also i think the more plan and simple one is the way to go nice review
so Ben if i already follow your instagram, does that mean i am automatically in for this giveaway? Nice video by the way i never really considered a tactical pen but after watching this i may have to get one. a lot of good info.

😂😂
First time I saw someone do a pen review. I like the Schrade and the Gerber.
thanks Mike.
Mike is a good dude. Good topic bud
agreed. thanks.
For Sure.

You can't go wrong with having enough fire starting methods . Great video and thanks for the opportunity of winning one of these pens.
thanks for watching.
Looks like the Gerber would fit my needs.
The Quest : Can any of these pens be fitted with the standard UNI-BALL POWER TANK REFILL ...... which would be the best combo.
Schrade makes great stuff. The Gerber seems like a great option due mainly to the cartridge.
love the phero rod option
I'm a subscriber! Please keep creating these vids! I love watching them.
thanks.
Man this is an awesome EDC thanks for sharing. subbed !
like the handcuff key option
agreed.
liiiiike!
ALKIS HARARIS thats the one i would go with
My favourite same as you is the second Schrade. I don't like the heavier pens because they can be uncomfortable.
The ones I have in the kits I own uses the Parker refills and have the glass breaker on one end, and the ink pen on the other end. They came in the kits I ordered and seem to be a nice ink pen and glass breaker. I think they are made by Uzi.
I like the Gerber pen for work/ on duty.
I'm here still. I like the handcuff key option.
Good overview and demonstration of each. Been following you on IG.
I don't need another ferrorod. A tacticalpen is a pen and a selfdefense tool for me. So the Schrade would be my choice.
I like the schrades the one for being quite sleek and the other for the features I don't think you can go wrong with either
I got the nitecore over the shrade and i love the sleek design it still looks a bit tactical but inconspicuous at the same time.
The thing with the shrade that put me off was people were saying the cap kept loosening in pocket, the Orings on the nitecore solve that i think
Great review - of the ones you looked at I think I like the Schrade the best.
A window punch on a pen?? I need that! Hope I win.
Nice video, btw there's Fisher Space pen refills with plastic end cap adapters that will fit pens that normally accept Parker refills. I personally swapped my Parker refill on my tactical pen like that. Cost me about 8 euros, I believe prices in the US shouldn't be much different in dollars
Yeah same mate parker over bic refills anyday

ol greybeard dino
thanks dino
I like the gerber pen
I'm left-handed, too!
I'm eyeing the crkt tao 2 pen, it has a sleek design and doesnt really stand out as much as most tac pens. Although it costs like twice as much as these ones.
i saw that one. get it!
I'm liking the Gerber pretty good. follow you on Instagram also.
Really liked the video. I am looking for another tactical pen so the survival one is what I am interested in.
I just followed and I really like the gerber pen
I've never had a tactical pen before, I usually just use whatever pen i can find lying around at work. My family always steals my nice pens and use up all the ink, lol.
I have a similar pen.
What if I was already following you on Instagram? Either way, the ferro rod and striker bit is pretty cool. For daily use though, I honestly prefer a simple cross pen, precisely because it doesn't stand out as an unusual pen. If I need a last ditch weapon though, it will do the job.
Charles Collier I use a Cross Zebra for the same reason. 👍🏼
Great video....
liking the Ferro rod

I got the nitecore 21 over the shrade and i am a happy camper
I also like the schrade the best.
I've had the first Schrade and the Uzi. The Schrade is way too heavy to ever be practical honestly. Dam right I need one or three.
My nanny government really limits my EDC !
Good job on making a higher quality video!! Love your reviews.. it just seems that there was too little camera focus on the pens themselves.. and too much focus on the zoomed out picture..

still working out the bugs :)

the uzi says right on the box NOT TSA approved lol
Living Survival haha. mine is really aggressive. has a glass breaker on one end and hidden handcuff key inside the other. I believe it's called version 6 or something 6
i like the first one to make fire
Already a follower on Instagram. Definitely would probably go with the simple schrade because of the Parker refills. Sometimes simple is better.
thanks Chuck.
very cool dude right up my alley
I have been looking at that one basic shcrade for awhile and im really thinkin bout gettin it.
DO IT!
I love the first one
Done and done.
Got you on instagram now. I kinda dig the gerber pen myself. Old school click works good for me.
all are cool but for me? uzi, gerber, second schrade, first schrade, fury pen...in that order.
Some nice tac pens
Would be great at the job.
Nice!
Pretty nice

Just started watching 0.35 sec in and my first thought on tactical pens is will they write.
