The mirror work is so profound... you have your face close to the mirror and just focus on your eyes 👀 because it’s nothing to do with how you look etc and it goes deep into your thinking 🤔 and you strangely start to shift as the weeks go on
Thanks for the review. I'm reading through the book right now. My therapist recommended it. The meditation's really been working for me. Something you said that stood out to me is to say I love myself when I notice that I'm going down a negative path. I assumed that doing that would cause a kind of whiplash, like I wouldn't be allowing myself time to feel sad. Like an imbalance or something. But maybe that idea is not true or maybe it's only partially true. Anyway, thanks!
I agree with personalized affirming, not only does it feel more real using words you actually use, they work more quickly, but I've just started doing the 'I love myself' and WOW! Straight away, so even if you doubt it please just give it a go. X
