I highly suggest that you check out the Outdoor art which is Rock Garden at Chandigarh, Punjab, India made by Nek Chand (pronounced as Nache (as in headache). It is a famous local tourist spot.
Chand also got Padma Shri (fourth highest civilian award) for his work.
P.S Always love your work, I was hoping for the Vermeer's to show up.
      Thank you

Thanks for this. I've never really understood what makes one painting better than another so your videos have been enlightening. One work of art that has always drawn me though is Girl with a Pearl Earring. But I've never been able to put my finger on why. I'd love to see a video on that even though it seems you are doing a different Vermeer work as well.

Mr Payne I cannot, with these words, explain how much I love what you are doing and how much I respect your channel and your videos. I had no interest in art, let alone classical ones. And yet, all I did was dedicate 15 minutes to the Guernica video and that! has opened a new world to me. Now I find myself looking at anonymous pieces of art, and ask myself- "What did the artist went through when he picked up the brush? What does this deliberate saturation in this corner signify? Maybe, I can interpret this one in a different way?" And all because of your efforts. YOUR love for art and literature was heard by me loud and clear in those 15 mins, and I was entranced. I look forward to each and every video you will put out!

I love Goya's black paintings. Looking forward to that.
I really love Alfons Mucha, mostly for his art nouveau work, but I'd love an in-depth look at his Slav Epic. However, I udnerstand that that might be a bit much for a fifteen minute time frame.
Anyway, I really love the work you do. Please keep it up. Making fine art accessible to a broader audience is a wonderful thing :)

Kay Sage doesn’t have one particular work of art that is famous, but she herself was one of the few female surrealists and had a very interesting and well-documented life, yet remains virtually unknown outside of surrealism nerds. Her work is extremely interesting.

This is one of my favorite must have UA-cam channels no if and’s or but’s. You, my very kind sir, are filling in the gaps in my knowledge ( gaps which are vast, empty and desolate places ) with the most wonderful information about some of our entire cultures history in paintings. I cherish the knowledge I have of the wave 🌊 influencing Van Gogh’s work. That information blows my mind. I’m able to appreciate the subtle details in the cafe of broken dreams. Thank you sir for all that you do. Wonderful Sir. Just wonderful.

Can't wait for your next projects! Thanks to your channel I developed new ways of looking and appreciating art, the most awe inspiring piece being Vigeland's Park from Oslo. The statues in the park are lifelike representations of simple moments from our ephemeral life (with some weird ones). What astonished me the most are the small details that you can see only when you get closer, some being noticeable only to the touch. I could talk for hours about how beautiful that place is! If you need pictures, let me know!

I’d love a piece on two wholly unrelated topics. “Course of Empire” by Cole, I feat it may be too long but it’s so dense and full of meaning. And “La Sagrada Familia” started by Antoni Gaudi. It has such a fascinating history and the principles behind it are so complex.

I am SO excited for your upcoming projects! Especially Goya's paintings, which I can never get enough of people talking about on YT. If you can, here are some of my favorite artworks that I'd love to hear about: "The Pietà" and "The Creation Of Adam" by Michelangelo, "Mars Venus and Amor" by Titian, and "Fallen Angel" by Alexandre Cabanel (that last one particularly intrigued me because of its recent spike in popularity among modern fandoms, similar to Klimt's The Kiss)
On another note, thank you for making this channel. I've learned a great deal about art and art history through you, and you've given me a much deeper appreciation for paintings that I might've already seen a lot in pop culture before (Mona Lisa, Starry Night, The Kiss, Birth Of Venus, etc.) as well as exploring art I've never seen before. Keep going, my dude!

This is so amazing, seeing this channel grow and being apart of it for almost as long as it’s been around. Supporting it on Patreon, you have had an incredible impact on myself and especially my art. Watching and learning about these masters really inspired me to grow and expand in my artistic endeavors. I’ve since dabbled in styles I first learned about watching these videos, I began to do oil paintings. Over the past 2 years I’ve had the honor of being in a handful of art shows and salons, a few of which I’ve received accolades from those much older than me. Love your channel! My suggestion is that I’d love if you covered any of the works by Evelyn de Morgan.
I think she is so interesting because she was around during the Pre-Raphaelite brotherhood but because she was a woman she wasn’t seen as an official member. The Pre-Raphaelites usually depicted women from folklore or history as ‘pathetic’ damsels or tragic victims, whereas Evelyn’s response was to paint powerful and headstrong women such as The Sorceress in her painting “The Love Potion”, who although would have been regarded as a social outcast, she had independently mastered a craft and was earning her own money from customers, who sought after her help (such as the romantic couple in the distance seen through her window). In a way, you could argue the piece is a metaphorical self portrait, as one of the books in the background of the sorceress’ study is a book on alchemy; Evelyn actually studied alchemical colour symbology to add further substance and meaning to her work as she took an interest in spirituality...everything in her work had a reason and purpose behind it.
I actually wrote part of my dissertation on her when I studied fine art at university and I think it’s such a shame that she doesn’t get the same amount of attention from the art world as her fellow pre-raphaelites, even though she was so ahead of her time and put so much thought into her work. Her work really is gorgeous so I’d recommend anyone reading this comment to check her out, I’ve actually seen a few of her pieces in person and the colours and overall feeling you get from them are absolutely divine.

i recently discovered this channel and it has reignited my love for art once again, i'm getting to each video slowly but surely; very happy to see an episode on Bernini is coming, would love to see one on his Ratto di Proserpina sculpture, it really is an impressive work alongside Apollo and Daphne. Thank you so much for these videos, your hard work is appreciated!!

Your channel is a “must follow” for art lovers. It’s a source of deep and masterful insight about masterpieces and their creators-all in about 15minutes or so-providing fresh understanding and appreciation of these timeless works of art.
May I suggest you consider covering the great Christian cathedrals and basilicas of Europe-with their fascinating history, architecture and laden with sculptures, paintings and other iconography-they’re really akin to art museums with a religious/spiritual theme. Thank you so much for all you do in this channel.
