double likes for the info. I have a question. Is it possible to assign a different workspace plan to an addon domain or would I need a separate account? l would like some users with Business Standard but another group with Enterprise. Would separate domains fix this issue or I need separate accounts? Any tip would be helpful. Thank you
Hello please answer sort of in a rush. Can you have 2 or more separate businesses inside one Workspace account? Or merge 2 businesses. for ex - a construction company and a freelancing company? Different names and emails, both separate but able to function through different workspaces???
You definitely can but we wouldn’t recommend different businesses from different industries or shareholdings be run under the same account as it’s more difficult to split them out later
If someone wanted to hire me tp manage and moderate their workspace with 15 or less users...also requires me to drive 30min to take photos of "storage barns" and post them.. what would you charge? How would you charge? Any ideas I would appreciate very much
Hi there! I'm chasing down an answer about calendaring across domains. I'd like to be able to send calendar invitations from two domains. Is that possible with the alias domain or do I need to basically have two accounts/"buckets" to do that? Thanks so much!!!!
I have setup client independent workspace accounts and created(paid for) a user for myself in each client domain. I would like to move their workspace domains under my organization so I don't need to have a separate login(email) for each client domain. Do you know how to do this? I have an admin user for every domain.
This was very helpful! Thank you! A few questions for anyone who may know: Can different organizational units have different billing tiers? Separate question: Can I migrate an existing Gsuite account to be an added domain within our main account instead?
Hey thanks for this helpful video. A question for you! I created a secondary domain (because I was considering transferring the Workspace to it as a new Primary Domain, but decided not to since I heard it could break accounts using Google Login) - I have since activated its Gmail, setup Aliases to my primary account (no creation of new user), have Transactional Emails using its domain via SendinBlue, & have even used the email for sign-ups. I'm noticing that I cannot select from this email address to send messages from, as I'm realizing that's the primary difference between the Domain options & the drawback of choosing a Secondary Domain vs an Alias Domain. Do you think it would be okay to delete the secondary domain & attempt to add it back as just an Alias Domain?
Final update here - I found a Workaround!! 💡So apparently, if you go into your Users, click on the user you want to edit & then in the left-hand column (under the profile pic & 'reset password'), hit 'Update User' - from there you can change their selected primary email address WITHOUT changing the Workspsace's primary domain! This works with the Secondary Domain type. This can work even if you are the Solo / Primary user on the account. And I can confirm that I was still able to use my Google Login connected platforms after making this change without anything breaking, and I'm officially able to send email addresses with the new domain!😁🎉
I am running cold email campaigns sending ~150-200 emails per domain/day. I don't go over that limit to avoid getting marked as spam. If I host all the domains under one google workspace account, will this harm my domain(s)?
Can you have 2 separate businesses inside one Workspace account? Or merge 2 businesses. ie: a construction company and a freelancing company? Different names and emails, both separate?
Adding an alias domain main function is for you to be able to receive emails using a different email address with your other domain in just 1 Inbox. So that means that you can only log in with your Primary Email Address.
Do I have to pay a monthly subscription to workspace for every add on domain ? I want to create different google sites each with a custom domain for other companies, but I will be updating the sites. Do I need to pay an additional monthly fee for each?
Thanks for the video! I want to change my Essential account to a Business account but it won't let me because the domain name I want to use for the Business account is already in use for the Essentials account. It says i can remove my domain from the Essentials account but it won't work unless i have another domain linked first. Should I just delete the Essential account to solve this or will I lose my data?? Any tips would be very appreciated!
Can you create video about how to move domain to become alias how is been used as own Google workspace account! I hope to get help to move some domains to become aliases accounts! I am a freelancer how have many domains how I will have as aliases domain some have been separated Google workspace account before, I don’t need this anymore!
I'm in Florida, USA. Do you know of anyone who is actually good around us that cares about helping us that I could meet with me to talk about ways I can do the things you talk about in your videos
Hi- thanks for the video! My company is going through a slow rebrand and we want to be able to send calendar invites as the our new brand. Originally, we set up an alias domain but the functionality was too limited regarding calendar. So we plan on removing our other domain as an alias domain and then re-adding it as a secondary domain. The problem is, and where I haven’t been able to find a clear answer, is if we don’t want to pay for separate licenses for our entire staff to use the secondary domain, is it possible to use a secondary domain as an alias on a primary domain account? So for example user1@alias1 wants to send and receive as user1@alias1 and also user1@alias2, but we don’t want to pay for them to have a separate account as @alias2 is registered as a secondary domain. Is there a workaround for this? Can we use an alias registered as a secondary domain for setting up a domain alias for an account on the primary domain? Essentially, can a domain be used as both a secondary and alias domain. Sorry for the long winded question but would really appreciate some help!

Having multiple domains; one for multiple topics blog, one for guides (articles) , one for media (podcasts, videos) but how manage them as an single entrepreneur and have an easy workflow to create content daily on them + posting to social media? My question is how do you go in the site to start setting the website

Two buckets/domains will do that

We do this via a reseller account
How can use new domain for both
alais and mew users

When a secondary Domain user opens the calendar it shows the name and last name of the superuser.
That sounds interesting, could you send me a screenshot to my Instagram?
@@itGenius_ yes, it's right next to the favicon on the calendar tab.
@@itGenius_ Check your inbox, I sent the screenshots.

I would not recommend running those campaigns from workspace

Been trying to find out too!
Very helpful. I am helping a small organization to setup their google workspace and your video(s) has given me a lot of tips. Thanks!!
Glad it was helpful!
Amazing, what you teach, about tech, and you live in a camper around Australia. Freedom. Dream. I want to do that too.
You can do it!
Can you answer this question: Can I make it so that I can login into my Google Workspace with an alias domain?
Adding an alias domain main function is for you to be able to receive emails using a different email address with your other domain in just 1 Inbox. So that means that you can only log in with your Primary Email Address.

Depends on the users...

Yes that will work but you will need to add to each alias manually to each user
Great stuff
Thank you for watching!
Might need a new editor, they didn't clean it up.
😆
That another email is the alias. ☺️
I want one!!
