YEA! Finally a demo of the MB that shows it's true potential. Almost lost interest in the the MB just from all the pathetic sounding demos out there. Some guys just like making noise I guess. This guy playing is a musician and it shows.

Olivier Briand Lol, I forgot all about that! I’ll have to check that little detail. I’ve been completely mesmerized by the arp on it. I play through a 4 speaker stereo amp and mixer setup. I’ll put a video up tomorrow that shows my studio kit. I play for fun and have a descent job that can support my toy cravings. I don’t vacation either, who needs one when you have all these fun toys to play with?!

Hello , no i don't think this one is for a beginner, you should try some Korg Volca Keys instead and see after for a better understanding of the synth techniques.
Love the sequencing you did here. Any external effects on this demo? Delay and reverb sound great, would be awesome if they were actually coming from internal FX.
Very awesome demo. I'm unsure of this or the sub 37. The one thing i've not heard from it is how well you can overdrive the oscillators / and filter with this and how good that sounds. Features and interface wise this synth is phenomenal though
you have a drive and a brutefactor on each filter, and i promess....it sounds enormous evean with one vco....and i recently saw a video that prooves that the square wave is the same than on moog....the sub 37 is a good instrument ut this one is going further....
I've had my Sub 37 for over a year, and frankly, the MB's *sound* does not impress me (the presets are totally underwhelming). Sure, it's got an impressive UI, but at the end of the day, it's the sound that counts, no? I've been consuming all possible YT video's on the MB since Arturia announced it last year.. the videos keep disappointing me. For the 2K pricetag, a synth better deliver superb sound.. as well as looks. I also think the MB effects are a waste of space.. you'll want to pipe it through more capable fx ..
What's wrong with the sound? Seems to have an incredibly rich and versatile sonic palette and big potential for experimentation. The BBD delay seems very useful to me too.
Thanks ! it's a question of taste, but the sound is BIG and there's many possibilities with the matrix and the sequencer you won't find at this price on other analog synths....
I don't think so, but tou can just a litlle in split mode have one sequence or arpeggio and a lead for exemple.....and you have external control for VCO 1 and 2 for the picth, so your question is intersting, there's again a lot of things to do and discover with this synth

Thanks ! yes at the time of the demo all sounds were presets, but as you can see and hear, with some tweaking...so it can rapidly be another sound....a new bank and demos are coming soon for this smart instrument !

Actually there will be an instruction manual in all boxes. Some early units didn't have the manual shipped with them but Arturia will send the printed version to those users

Demo should be something that has been recorded as a track or composition. Not this garbage. People are in awe from the sounds that any good synth can create but I can't find any solid performance piece that would be created with this. I am getting sick of these "demos" that are good for nothing. Show me you created a comprehensive piece of real music with it and then I will make a comment on the power of the instrument. This is complete and utter crap

No external FX added, all fx coming directly from the synth

Which video was that? That's cool, i'm not sure if the drive will be as nice as the moog though. What about the saw?

The only thing that is holding me back from pulling the trigger is the lack of paraphonic sequencing.
Well, you can stack the 3 VCO in Major or Minor to do a chord in monophonic mode and then sequence it....but i know this is a limited solution....
