The last shot provides an excellent visual representation of the state of the scuba industry, amazing to have such a contrast and well done!! thanks for lighting the way
Haha, I was thinking just that! The contrast between the foreground and the background of divers sitting on the bottom, standing, bicycling, and flailing hands around...
@@lavatiger9915 hadn't noticed at first, it's actually hilarious and disconcerning at the same time haha. the "poor" guy who's trying to submerge by flailing and waving his hands is very painful to watch!
This is madness! While I would love to train like this, it cost me $450 each time I dive as this is basically how much it costs where I am (equivalent to USD 285). However, not only hindered by the cost, we don't have a place without current; my first training here is to stick close to the wall/ reef. Therefore, finless would not be the best idea. However, all I can do now I suppose to just keep on diving, record the dive, analyse and make changes for the next dive. Keep making these videos as they are very useful to me and hopefully for others that are obsessive with diving (just like me). If you can (though I don't feel that it's aligned with that you're doing), I am in the process of buying a sidemount (probably xDeep stealth 2.0 TEC) and an in-depth understanding of each accessories or parts would be really useful such as how you could find the perfect length customised to the diver to ensure streamlining, importance of redundant bladder, positioning of the D-rings and its intended purposes, how to choose the size of the central weight pocket and droppable pocket (since it varies from small, medium, double and wide) -- I'm never certain of how much I really need because so far with single tank BPW in a 5mm wetsuit, I lessen my weight every dive. Therefore, I can't imagine when I'll be using double pockets (which can hold 18kg of led in total). Again, thank you and looking forward to seeing your next video. Have a Happy New Year.
Thank you very much! We are planning to create an entirely new playlist focused on sidemount diving because we are extremely passionate about diving sidemount correctly. There are not many people doing it right, so there's definitely a demand for it. In reference to the weighting you mentioned, I highly recommend watching our video on proper weighting, applicable to any configuration, whether it's a twinset, sidemount, or single backmount. The same procedure applies. On the note of analyzing your own videos well... :) We might have a pleasant surprise for you in the works. I won't reveal it just yet, as we are diligently working on laying the groundwork for our upcoming project. However, it could align well with your needs. @@flowstatedivers While I have followed your proper weighting technique (btw, your video is the simplest yet the most effective way of finding the proper weight), I'm trying to buy pockets that can adapt to all type of diving either be temperatures, material of tanks, type of exposure suits, or type of water. The reason for this is mainly because summer in here (currently) requires a minimum of a 5mm wetsuit and winter requires a drysuit with heated undersuit. But because I haven't tried diving here on winter time, I'm not sure how much weight I need. Additionally, I like to go to tropical countries for holiday and that changes my weight configurations too. (just wanted to figure out what's the best weight pockets to buy to adapt to all these environments 😅 As in signing in to your newsletter, on to it !!
@@MrNeobuxer We're just a country not famous for the Rec diving. I feel like advance diving would be really good here (though I'm not there yet). We got pearce resurgence for those that feels the need to cheat death. But, I can always fly to Australia if I feel like diving with sharks or colourful reefs in Bali and Raja Ampat. So depends how you see it aye 🙂
As always amazing production! ) Love how you guys are really putting out quality scuba content! Thanks! - Also to add... I actually think the added challenge of no fins is really fun haha! Im lucky to have access to a pool, and no fins training in a pool is fantastic - keeps me from getting bored ;)
wow! this is excellent content once again. Those divers in the background should be looking at you not the so called instructor crawling on her knees with slates hanging off her
Really nice video!!!! CONGRATS....It would be great if you guys could make one about static buoyancy and tips to perfect it ... Thanks for your work!!!!!

These tidbits are also useful for even experienced divers 👍
Training without fins that’s a great idea!!!!
You’re so wrong for taking that last shot lol 🤭😂😂😂😂😂💀
The backdrop of divers on their knees...
yeah.. there are multiple ways to dive'. I guess it's clear which one we represent :)
Fantastic video, thank you for the wonderful opportunity to show oss how it's done. 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for taking the time to check the video! Please consider sharing it with like-minded divers ;)
You guys are so so good. Please keep it up! I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us this year!

2:34 from the right lol
What BCD are you using ???
Razor 4
Why do you have people kneeling on the seabed in the background?
That's unfortunately the typical random course not our students of course.
