First of all, Kata is NOT pronouced "gatha" it is pronounced KATA, secondly, there is a HUGE amount of visitors here, and a lot of redlight district, not a few. You play Mexican music on the vid, but this is Thailand, not Mexico. Get a grib

Great vlog and pleasing to see it is fairly busy for the locals. Kata is a great spot, Kata Noi being my favourite Thailand beach.
Last time I was there was 2011. What has changed are: many more tourists now -and a lot of weed shops.
That looks like Kata beach we stayed there best ever holiday paradise the ska bar on the beach does great food
Many fond memories of my visits to Kata.
Seems pretty relaxed comparing to Patong
This place was a REAL tropical paradise 27 years ago when i was for vacation tnere.
Its as crowded as patong😵💫
