Wow! I watch dozens of WIP parades, and your episode was one of my favorites. You were genuine and unapologetic about your progress - and I found that very refreshing and so relatable to my journey with 27 WIPs in various states of progress. Best wishes on your stitching this year, and as you reminded me a couple of times: This is a hobby. It should not be stressful nor should I feel "judged" on my progress. Take care and stay well.
Lovely WIP parade. You've made great progress, there's no need to ever feel guilt. As you said, life is hard enough, and luckily for our time needlework is a pleasure and not a necessity. I look forward to watching your process and progress, whatever it is, in 2025!
So good to see you again sweetheart ❤. You have such beautiful wips. Mickey looks amazing. I had a horrible stitching year last year so I hope to stitch on all of mine this year. I want to make good progress on God Shed His Grace as well. Because I don’t use PK and only paper charts I keep baby wipes next to me every time I mark off or change colors I wipe my hands with one so the oils aren’t there. It works for me. Just an idea. I can’t wait to see what you do this year. I pray you have a wonderful stitching year and 2025 is very good to you. Have a wonderful week and happy stitching always❤️
@@cjstitches5709 Thank you for being here Carmen! ♥️ I am really hoping this year can be the opposite of last year for you 🤗 Yay for more of God Shed His Grace! Ohh that’s a good idea! I guess someone else said that color isn’t always clean at the store and I’m wondering if mine was from that plus being old. I’m going to be more careful in the future and at least take my own oils out of the equation
I spy a GG mug! ☕️🥰 Ahhh nothing beats a bestie WIP parade ( fyi my phone wanted to change that to parsley 🙄) So many beautiful projects!! 😍😍 You had great progress in many things, but holy moly Mickey is looking fabulous!!🤩 You have some great goals ( I hardly hit any 5% either🤷♀️) for 2025! 4 pages on Gods grace is a little insane , what were we thinking? 😂 you can do it though!! 🦾 ( notice i said you, not we! 🤪) So great to see you!! Very much enjoyed that while i stitched on Hogsmead! See ya on the flipside! 🤗🥰
@@angieslowlycrafts haha yep it just worked out that I was using it that day! 🥰 I’m happy to be your parsley 🌿 too 😂 I’m glad I wasn’t the only one that didn’t hit those 5% goals…I honestly didn’t think they were that lofty but apparently we need to lower the bar. Like, 4 pages in Grace 🤣 Let’s see how that turns out. Making our own game of “how many goals can we avoid” lol. Thanks for being there girl!! 💕
I am so glad I found your WIP Parade! I am so thrilled that you are also doing Tea by Nora Corbett. I love this one and I have not seen many people work on it. I started on the giant pink dress. I also love your Church for Every Season. Small Town Stitches is doing just the spring church, and I love seeing the difference between the two of yours! Amazing projects.
@@stitchininoregon Thank you!! Oh fun! I haven’t seen many people doing it either but it’s so cute! I love that pink dress 👗. I’m hoping to get more visual progress on Church for all Seasons this year so it will look like something bc the colors are so pretty 😍
You have some lovely WIPs! I'm very intrigued by your Pride and Prejudice piece - I have had one of her patterns on my favourites for a while but been a bit nervous about the monochrome as I normally stitch things with more different colours - yours looks so lovely I might have to give it a go after all
@bluegreenstitch Thank you! I felt the same way about monochrome but with a variegated floss it works bc I want to keep seeing how the shades change. Go for it!
@@carrievankessel4486 Aww thanks for watching! I have a wheel I put my projects on and when I can’t decide I let it tell me what to do…which is very often 😂♥️
I find white floss I buy from Hobby Lobby is always dirty. I think it’s from the amount of dust and such that gets on their floss. Now I buy it from 123 stitch. Idk where you get your floss from, but could definitely be a cause for the “dirty” stitches.
@@MorvantMade Ahh that makes more sense bc I was appalled that it could have happened from my own hands lol. It is older so I’m wondering if it even got grungier over time? I’m going to rip these out and grab a new skien (I do usually get my floss from hobby lobby so I’m assuming that’s the issue). Thanks for helping!
I like that island time chuck pinson one! Also, I have one of those clipboards and I forget to use it!! Lol I bet you can get the letisticth kit off if you email them. I emailed Luca s and got the PDF files and got it into the pattern keeper!!
@@stitchyreispeices 😆 Get that clipboard out girl! I have heard you can email them but I haven’t gotten around to trying it yet! I’d def work on it way more if I could get it into Pk!!
Hummmm maybe I should try that 32 count with only 1 thread.....maybe that would help me like that fabric better...I'm really struggling to use my huge piece of 32 count!
@@lisavenuto814 Oh! I think if you searched “clipboard with storage” they should come up. If not, let me know and I can add a link for them in the description box 😘

that's a great idea for the Amazon clip containers - I'm an old paper pattern curmudgeon with the highlighters - i'm going to get a few for sure!
