At last, an episode that was relatively easy to grasp! ;D The IBN computer is finally in Okarin's possession, but it took a hilarious loss against Feyris to get there. Meanwhile, I might still be reading into some scenes a little bit too much and automatically not trusting certain characters, but I fear this show is slowly turning me into the same mad scientist that Okarin is. We've made it to episode 12 over on www.Patreon.com/Robinoyo, and you all know what that means! I still can't believe what just happened... Go and check it out! Thanks for watching :)
Hey Robin! Will you react to Hell's Paradise? This is a manga written by one of Tatsuki Fujimoto's assistants and is currently getting an anime adaptation in April. MAPPA doing again and they completing dark trio. (CSM+JJK+HELL'S PARADISE) Tatsuki Fujimoto is Csm author btw.
I don't know if anyone on patreon has said this yet but I want to say this to explain the perspective weebs usually having from the first episode. In Japan there is something that they call eighth grade syndrome. It is based around kids in middle school acting edgy or delusional like thinking that they have magic powers or are fighting some greater evil in the world as if they're the protagonist of an anime. You would be forgiven for not realizing this if you are not familiar with Japanese culture but I believe you are supposed to know that Okabe has this syndrome. He does not actually know about an organization at the beginning and once he finds out about SERN, it is a good excuse to give his made up organization a name. The fact that he made it all up from his eighth grade syndrome is shown by how his friends don't take him seriously and he deep down he doesn't either which is why he acts slightly differently from his normal mad scientist persona like a normal person breaking from an act. It also explains his lack of concrete explanations when he's questioned about "the organization" and why his phone isn't on when he reports on the organization. El Psy Congroo and "the will on steins; gate" are also things he just made up that have no real meaning other than to sound cool (Eighth Grade Syndrome again). He also makes up weird backstories/explanations about his friends and treats his "lab" as a true mad scientist's lab and not a room he's renting above a CRT shop. Any truth to the things he says that the show gives no explanations for why he would know them are just coincidences that he did not genuinely know about.
@@noechoprime bro no. Maybe like the first half of that. “Anyway here’s everything you’re going to realize about the MC” -a dumbass. Even in the VN he’s supposed to be portrayed like that but you’re not entirely sure if he’s an unreliable narrator or not
I loveeeee how they build up the character relationships using such insane interactions and inside jokes (mainly because Okabe has a lot of screws loose). It makes you really love the characters before the show starts hitting the fan.
Looking forward to ep. 5's reaction! The ending in that one is amazing and it's when I really got into the show, shit got serious and the atmosphere was incredible
So of your predictions are pretty good not gonna lie. Ofc not everything you say is correct but you are damn smart, if I may compare that to my first watch. i didn't notice half the stuff you already mentioned. PS: And yes, the first episode is open until the last episode.
The crowd are nerds/otakus, not weebs. Japanese literally can't be weebs, since a weeb/weeaboo means someone who ISN'T Japanese, but still obsessed about Japan. Otaku is someone who is simply a fan. Otakus are fanatically obsessed about one single topic/fandom, a more extreme version of a nerd.
Since you've already watched up to episode 12, I'll give you one word of caution. In "Steins Gate", if you have finished watching episode 12, do not watch back on past episodes until you have finished watching all of them. If you want to fully enjoy "Steins;Gate", this is an absolute requirement. If you get hints and revisit the past before the great detective solving the mystery , the fun of the mystery novel will be halved, right? Exactly the same reason.
Be careful with the UA-cam comments. People love to spoil this show or try to give hints, which is bad considering the mystery is the most attractive parts of the show
Hi! Just a suggestion and you might want to do it after finishing the show or at some point in the future where you would like to rewatch Steins;Gate again. I just wanted to recommend watching the dubbed (english) version of this show. The voicework, dialogues, and creative liberties they took made the dubbed version a masterpiece on it’s own. They were able to embody the unique dynamics and humor of the characters, and sometimes even funnier than the original. Definitely worth checking out at your own time. 😄
Steins gate Dub is good for someone doesnt know too much about japanese culture. But japanese voice actor still the best for me after watch both version many many time
@@sultanprawiro3069 Uhh, I did say it was a "masterpiece on it's own", and it's very a beginner-friendly version of the show, especially for someone not entirely familiar with the Japanese and anime culture altogether. Don't get me wrong, I love the original and I've watched it a lot of times, but I also think the dubbed version deserves a credit of it own. It's one of the dubs that actually work and is not cringy at all.

Thanks for that! It was already mentioned to me by a Patron before but not as extensively explained as you just did. I appreciate it!
That was a Fucking good explanation bro!!
Ah yes. I’m sure one would rather read an essay on how the character acts than discover it for themselves.

I also like how they’ve all got pet names for each other. Makes the relationships feel more personal
One of my favorites characters ever, Kurisu-tina
I like your analysis. You seem really engaged with the story. Understanding the characters.
Can't get enough of these reactions, reliving steins gate has been a blast.
