I was looking for someone who would point this out. Both choreos are great, but they were made for different types of stage. Bebe's is amazing, but the spotlight rotates to show the different dancers, while 1m's was made with the fact that Hwasa is the focus, the one singing.

The hand and mouth movements included are no doubt present due to Hwasa's stage mannerisms. We musn't get this twisted, Lia Kim is an authority on girl group dance.
