I adore patsy king, she brought so much to Erica she was involved in almost every storyline either to reprimand the prisoners or verbal ping pong with Vera and yet she hardly had any personal life ones but somehow she managed to get across just how much Erica cared and wanted to change things. A true acting talent. I think my favourite scene is with the freak "your insubordination is not yet a closed subject, so please do not correct me!!" 🙃
I love it! Nice work. I have always loved Erica's articulacy. Patsy King is brilliant. If I met Patsy I would have to ask her would she mind going back into character and saying 'I will not tolerate' for me, I would love to hear her speak those words in person.
Not, "Erica" related, but t'is along yr line of comment: My "Prisoner" friends & I,in the mid~80's,once met "The Freak",(Maggie Kirkpatrick),in a bar in Sydney! She was sooo gracious that, even tho' we'd obviously had a lil' to drink, when we asked if she'd "Put the GLOVES ON"~She DID! & then,in a "Freak" voice, told us to leave! It was the Best!
This is great, who can ever forget Erica Davidson played by the BRILLIANT Miss Patsy King, Wow, She was a great Governor of Wentworth Detention Centre, firm, but fair, you saw at times the soft side of Erica Davidson with The Prisoners, most notably Doreen Burns, her niece Barbara. Miss Patsy King has this wonderful commanding voice, you certainly sit up and take notice. Great Work Miss Patsy King.
I never heard Erica holler 3:58 before. *rises eyebrows* Erica Davidson was like a Fairy Godmother while Meg was like a fairy. Erica was rugal with class...somebody I'd look up to.
Was it BT she did the call waiting message for ? Anyone remember that ? “The number you are calling knows you are waiting” ? Can be heard in shy fx’s call wait
I've always wanted to know whether or not if it was her decision or the producers for her to leave and if she was happy with her exit(s) from the show. Given what a core character she was she kind of just slipped away.
not often I would say that a middle aged woman could look sexy in a jumpsuit, I'm about the same age now as Patsy was when those scenes were shot, and didn't look half as good as that then never mind now
Thank you for responding your very kind , i was referring to the clip where Erica is looking at Judy through the cell door , it looks like Erica is in a jump suit walking down the hall with a clip board. looking for that episode thanks again for responding
Erica was the best Governor of Wentworth. I really missed her when she left. I never liked Ann Reymolds her replacement. I met Patsy King in real life and she was lovely. She was more attractive in real life, the TV didn't do her justice.
This collection of Erica Davidson clips is sooo good.
'I will not tolerate mass insubordination '. 'Don't you ever raise your voice to me again'.
I adore patsy king, she brought so much to Erica she was involved in almost every storyline either to reprimand the prisoners or verbal ping pong with Vera and yet she hardly had any personal life ones but somehow she managed to get across just how much Erica cared and wanted to change things.

Thanks for this really loved it. Erica is my favourite character by far and Patay played her brilliantly. Love them both!
I love it! Nice work. I have always loved Erica's articulacy. Patsy King is brilliant. If I met Patsy I would have to ask her would she mind going back into character and saying 'I will not tolerate' for me, I would love to hear her speak those words in person.
she would have done it for you

Erica was definitely my favourite of the governors at Wentworth
There was only two. You make it seem like there was way more. -_-
I was lucky enough to meet Patsy last week in Glasgow, lovely friendly lady who still looks amazing!
I met her in Birmingham and Sydney 2 years ago!

I totally agree! I love my Erica that much that I have a framed photo of her on my bedroom wall.
I never heard Erica holler 3:58 before. *rises eyebrows* Erica Davidson was like a Fairy Godmother while Meg was like a fairy. Erica was rugal with class...somebody I'd look up to.
Her voice always reminded me of a low key version of the good witch in the Wizard of OZ!!!!
The bit at the end with the mee-mo had me in tears of laugter 😂😂😂
Brillant !

Prisoner Cell Block H - Meemo
She was bonkers with a capital "B"

Wonder how many takes they had to do of the stripper scene as I have a feeling there would be a lot of giggling going on
Meemo lol!
2:40 was that really her?
Yes definitely
NO NOT DOLLY DOREEN!!!
Good old Erica.... It's a shame her brother went on to become the "maniac" who went on a killing spree of escaped prisoners!!
I'm amused that Erica always uses the word "whilst" instead of "while." Did Patsy King grow up speaking a dialect of Early Modern English?
Ann Reynolds had nothing on Erica
