I love the black paint job, even though I know that white paint would be cooler in summer. If I bought one of these RVs I'd make sure it was fully insulated, four season, four by four, and paint a blackish colour rubber paint all the over the outside to further insulate it from heat loss, and I'd put solar all over the roof and install lithium batteries if buying it for travels in the Americas.
Very pleasing to look at , clearly good design and construction. Liked the use of slide out table/work surfaces..Bed storage v.good &simple. Pleasing lack of bling allowing a sense of luxury through the design, materials used and solid construction. Thanks for showing this Alan.
Great job again Alan...that is a lovely modern RV...I love the drop down bed with the huge garage for bikes, camping gear, skis, food supplies etc.etc. and the four season insulation. At last the manufacturers are lifting their standards and becoming more competitive with features.
i''m still waiting to see these kinds of vans that bump out on both sides to expand living space. I'm talking a floor to ceiling bump out on both sides
Very nice car, good bathroom solution, the car was long and tall, good space feeling. What I could see it was quality built, it should also be at that price. Some of the better of this class motorhome.
Elevating beds are great, but they have to go all the way up so you can use the area under them as proper living space. Halfway up is only so-so useful, usable for if you have big items to haul or something. I really don't like that rear space at all, dedicating that much space to cargo and/or crap and leaving so little for the humans is just - for me - the completely wrong priority. Also, the gas should be in the very back, so it's easy to swap the bottle, without having to go spelunking inside. Better yet, go full Lithium battery and don't have any gas at all. It's nice enough, but not for me.
The height limit may be a consequence of the Sprinter, a van not suitable for campers as it narrows at the top. I think the same brand do this type of bed in a Sevel van which should allow it to go up to the ceiling. There's always the problem of corner cupboards being in the way so probably best in a 6.4m van with longitudinal beds and a fitted (ceiling to floor) wardrobe and cupboards just on one side, perhaps with a dressing-table type area around one of the windows. A rising folding bed would also be an idea, to fold in half (onto peg brackets at preset heights) and then rise up (folded to the left or right) to allow natural light in, although bed airing is still needed. The Murphy bed is another option in a 6.4m but not so height flexible for bikes etc in the back.
That electric raised bed seems a lot of work for not very much, and even in the highest position you still have to crawl around underneath it. I'd far rather have two Murphy beds that come down from each side and meet in the middle. You could raise and lower them manually in seconds, or fit electric motors if you really wanted, and then have full height space to walk through.
We have a brand new MB 4x4 sprinter 907 camper-van that broke down because the condensation of the front window runs down on the electrical junction box. We had to be towed to a Mercedes garage. We’re not the only ones with this problem! We know of 4 other brand new Mercedes camper vans with this exact problem. Mercedes solution: wrap the part in an electrical bag 😳
This looks like a great van. But my nit with all of these is - where are the high-quality vans for families? In particular where you have a kid that you want to put to bed first before the adults go to bed. Most of these rely on setting up a kids' bed in the living area which defeats the purpose. Only the VW Grand California 600 seems to address this properly - and this is NOT a small market. Overall the attention to detail and finish in this van (especially the bathroom) look far superior to VW's model but for now the latter will be our choice because of the practicalities of family life.
There are motorhomes where there is a door to the rear bedroom, some campervans do it too such as Globe Traveller. However the best option I would have thought is something where there are rear bunks with a curtain - the child can be put to bed and the adults can continue up front. Vehicles like this are manufactured by Rimor, Roller Team, Benimar and others eg ua-cam.com/video/qSb2RkS4IYw/v-deo.html
Yeah. I think not. Love the creativity of people building out their own vans. I knew they would try and capitalize on what people are striving for. Inexpensive rent free to be able to save money and travel to get away from the rat race. Not to be sold another campervan for a ridiculous amount of money. Good vid though. Cheers to you.
Ventilation under the bed, why no holes in the bottom of the bed? Why not a shower curtain to cover the toilet? Better then a plexiglass door which leaves less space to move.. For the rest it seems nice!
Yes, the camper is registrated and ready for 4 persons. It also has another built-up bed in the front. Check at the vehicle blueprint on the homepage www.megamobil.si/en

Hi, Alan. My partner and I considering buying a motorhome to live in on a full-time basis. Considering around 40% of our travel time will be in mainland Europe (mainly Poland as my partner is Polish), would you recommend a left-hand drive motorhome? If so, should we opt for a European manufacturer or a British one? We like the idea of a fixed bed layout. Which manufacturers are suitable for a budget of £50-55k? I personally like the Bailey Alliance 76-4 because of the large bathroom (I am 6ft 3). My partner prefers the Chausson. Many thanks in advance. Keep up the great work. We love watching your videos.
Great looking van, I like it a lot, however, the step looks like a tripping point and injury hazard to me, with that sharp corner.! Though it seems like it can be put away into a drawer. I would not buy that with that sharp cornered step, unless it was remedied, and then not for eighty thousand Euros, unless it was fully four season and had four by four wheel drive included.
Am I missing something here or just being a bit dumb? Why would you pay that price for a camper when you could get an all singing A Class for the same money? 🤔
Think I'd spend my 100k differently. Looks well put together but the only good thing about it is the bed can raise but I don't see the point in it 🤷🏼♂️
Not at all sure what makes this van outstanding?? Mercedes tube van? I can't see anything new or unique! Just a cramped camper van with a pointless raising bed!
You may have heard in other videos of mine that I am very sympathetic to the needs of tall people. If you want a campervan, then your only choice is a high roof version.
I doubt you can buy a new sprinter with some options for that money. Let alone the conversion. Remember the labour cost which you also have to take into account. Oh and some reservations for warranty and service.
For an "off the shelf" fitout it's quite nice but much better use of space in some of the other Sprinter conversions on you tube.
Thanks for sharing!
I"m catching up on your videos. I really like this one.
Other people too - it is quite popular!
This is the best looking campervan ever! Mercedes Benz to me has the best layout on this one....I enjoyed watching the presentation! Thank you, Sir!
Glad you enjoyed it

You can find slide outs but they are still not very common.
Great Van and Review
Thanks Eric!
Also a great slat system with circulation and nice space around the bed for bedding to tuck in etc.
😍😍❤️👌🏼very nice
Beautiful, well designed motorhome!
That's a perfect spec for the 4 of us Alan.
The bed could be a game changer for some as it looks very practical. Looks like the grand california 680 has a credible rival.
Very nice car, good bathroom solution, the car was long and tall, good space feeling. What I could see it was quality built, it should also be at that price. Some of the better of this class motorhome.

I like it but my favourite van so fsr is the Wildax Elara with twin beds. Unfortunately both way out of my price range. but I can dream.
great review for a great van

Interesting solution of the plexiglas door in the shower which unfortunately is a nightmare to keep clean.
92k is nuts for this.
90k euro. That's a steal

can anyone spot the serious injury potential starting at 1:02 ? hint: passenger seat.
I like everything but the way the bed is set up
Love it......
How large is the bathroom?
what kind of lift do they use for the bed?
great job!

Seriously, I've no experience here buddy sorry, but only that. I thought it would be costing around 75-90k!!
If I had it I'd just play with the bed uppy downy bed button

How tall are you mate?
175cm.
Why the rear seatbelts over the bed? There’s no seats back there, right?
For raising the bed to get more storage in the garage.
Was that Euro's or Pounds
Awesome...
how much for the conversion and what does it have or NOT have that the Revel has ?
How do you order it?
You could try contacting the manufacturer MegaMobil.
Hey mate , thought I would say hello while I watch the whole add , I only do this for you mate 😉
Thank you very much - it is appreciated!
Agreed great van, do they offer this with 4 x 4 as well?
Also in available in 4x4 Max!

Mo got robbed with his van😂😂
91k’ The Most Expensive bed in history
Very nice but just too expensive
Que pena , esta marca y ese modelo en Mercedes Benz Sprinter , no se vendan aqui en España

why campervan are not produced by roof open second bed?

The bed lifting is so you can easily carry a lot of bikes and stuff to your camp place, unload it and lower the bed for sleeping.
A mere hundred grand.....
such long fridge and inside looks to have so little space
For 91k I don't think so !!!
What frustrates me the most is that I'm two meters tall.
Making these things comfortable for someone tall is so goddamn expensive...
You may have heard in other videos of mine that I am very sympathetic to the needs of tall people. If you want a campervan, then your only choice is a high roof version.
this is not suitable for me. I'm claustrophobic.
😥
That is nowhere near worth 90k. Cheap and cheerful materials and a bed and shower that takes up far too much usable space. Overall, poorly designed.
No innovation, no thought into the build.
So funny, I mean it's overpriced crazily, but a nice video...
I've seen better onese for under 25 000$ and done with better planning and more features
