This is what parenting is all about, making positive memories that last a lifetime. It's a great little starter machine. I had a smile the whole time. That is so great that she is learning this stuff so young. As you said, anyone that disagrees with it should remember that 30 years ago we didn't have a screen in our hands 24/7. We got outside and got motor skills, adaptive skills, cognitive skills, mechanical skills and so much more from being active and honestly, doing things that are considered "dangerous" by our Purelled and bubble foam wrapped society today. Good for you man for raising your girl right. It will serve her well down the road! Keep up the good work!

    Great video. Your daughter was so excited. If anything the tires will teach her a bit of throttle control to keep the tires from spinning and losing traction. She's been doing a great job so far though. Another adrenaline junkie in the family. Family fun outside and enjoying life.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  10 місяців тому

      Thanks! She absolutely loves rippin around in the RZR. I wish I could of had something like that at her age. I agree, it will help her understand traction and throttle control better. Once things thaw up a bit the tires will hook up great. When she gets more experience and gets a better handle on the machine I'll upgrade the clutching and it will really wake it up.

    Thanks for checking out the video! If you have been following along with the videos and on social media then you know my daughter Evelina got an awesome little RZR 200 for Christmas. She has wanted a SXS for a long time and since I’m obsessed with these machines as many of you are I just had to get her one, lol. As soon as she got it she told me she wants to upgrade it like I upgrade all my machines. She also really enjoys being in the videos and asked me if she could make some of her own videos for Adrenaline Junkie Kids. How could I say no to that? So we made a deal, I told her I’d get her upgrades as long as she agrees to learn how to install them all herself. I also told her that owning the RZR is a big responsibility and it’s her job to take good care of it. That includes, washing it and servicing it. So in addition to her daily chores she said she would do all that. So join along as 8 year old Evelina takes control in some of her own videos and learns some valuable life lessons along the way. I know a lot of you have children and families of your own so I’m sure you can relate to some of the wonderful experiences in this video as well as the upcoming videos she will be taking part in. The #TeamAJP crew has always been family and friend oriented. off-roading is a wonderful hobby full of amazing people. I’m glad I’m able to share these experiences with my family both at home and all of you guys, my extended UA-cam family. If you have kids that enjoy riding make sure you tell them about these videos so they can enjoy some content from the perspective of someone their age. As always, thank you all for your support and see ya in the next video!

      Thanks, glad you can find the fun in this video. I know it's a bit different then some of the previous content but this is how we all started. You need to start your off-road journey somewhere and this is a great way to do it. Sometimes people are quick to judge or say videos like this are boring but I think that if you really believe that you need to evaluate what is important in life. We all started at the bottom and worked our way up. If we want to train the next generation of riders we need to start them young. It's not all about full sends and carnage, often moments like these are actually much more memorable in the long run.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  10 місяців тому

      @@HerbataSurykata I would say they are quite a bit heavier. The tires are larger with a lot more rubber and they are 8 ply not 6 ply like the stock ones. Power wise not much of a difference. The machine seems to handle them just fine.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  10 місяців тому +1

      @@HerbataSurykata the biggest thing that makes this machine so timid and “safe” is the very delicate clutching. Once she gets a hang of things I’ll upgrade the clutches and the engine tuning and it really makes these machines snappy and quick. I just need to wait until I know she can handle that. The machine has enough power for what it is. It’s quite narrow and doesn’t have a lot of suspension so with more power it would become very easy to roll over and we want to avoid that as long as possible. I’ll be getting her some 4 point harnesses in a little while but right now they are too hard for her to use safely. I didn’t get a roof or windshield yet because I can’t fit in it with a roof. I’m way too tall and I want to be able to ride with her so I can teach her.

    Great little video Julian! I respect your parenting skills with your daughter it's good to teach her responsibility while being nurturing at the same time!..(this is how I tought my boys growing up) as with the tires, I actually really enjoy the skag type tires in my Segway villain they really do hook up excellent in mud and snow versus the bighorn type tread..! If they would make skags in 32s I would buy them over any other tire for general non-specific use conditions....! Looking forward to upcoming videos showing off the XP 1000. That was my initial choice to purchase however, the Segway villain fill in my lap too easily, so I bought it instead and absolutely love it!

      Thanks man. Trying to teach her about a lot of different things. Being well rounded makes life easier. She was the one who really showed an interest in the videos and the SXS. I wouldn't make her do anything she doesn't enjoy. She just wants to be part of the team and hang out with daddy. I'm lucky that she loves to spend time with me like this. I dreamed of moments like this for such a long time and I'm super happy I'm in a position where I can provide her with experiences like this. The Villain is a cool machine and it's different. Not many around which is cool. Glad to hear you are enjoying it. I always thought the bighorn type tires were pretty good all around performers. These are probably just the worst conditions possible for this tire.

    First I would like to say I enjoy your channel! You ride very different terrain than what I ride in the Rocky mountains, super cool. What you are doing for your daughter is the best. My daughter is 18 and son is 16, they started on dirt bikes at 5 years old just like me with my dad in 1979. My best memories are with my parents camping and riding. We are newer to Rzr riding but in the last 3 years it has been such a joy to ride in the car with my kids and be able to talk on the intercom to coach and chat spending time together. The skills that you learn in the offroad are life long that help in life! Thanks man!! I don’t even think of her as my step daughter, never really have. To me a father isn’t just the person who takes part in the “act” it’s a lot more than that. She’s had my last name now for a while. It’s kind of funny actually. She was in school going by her previous last name last year still and she said she wanted to go by my last name. School said they can’t really do that so at 7 years old she approached her teacher and said “I self identify as a Jasinski” teacher told the administration and they changed all her paperwork to the name she “self identified” as. When me and my wife heard about it we were blown away, we had nothing to do with it. I felt super proud of her for doing that. Turns out the schools have the option of using a preferred name so legally she was still going by the old last name for formal documents until all her paperwork cleared but they had to refer to her by the name she requested or it’s a form of discrimination… lol.

    I had a 450 Grizzly which is a smaller quad of course and replaced the stock tires with a big horn knockoff - stayed at original of 25". Destroyed the ride quality. I noticed they were a load range H (I think) which is like for a large SxS...super stiff. Also they were really hard and would slide around more. I went back to original tires and sold the knockoffs on CL. I think once it gets warm and trails dry out, those tires will be very rough ride.

    You know in a way it is sad yet funny that you have to explain yourself on why you bought your little girl a side by side and then have to explain how you feel it is the right thing to do. Now if anyone ask I am 18 and that is my story and I am sticking to it. So for some reason a lot of people will scream how it is unsafe or dangerous for a parent to let their child ride an atv or utv at that age, One that side by side is made for that little Angel for her to learn and have fun. 2 in the 90's they had little snowmobiles made for little kids to be able to ride with their parents and not one person thought or felt that was wrong. When I was 12 years old I was driving an old ford 4x4 truck on the roads and hauling wood. I was also cutting and splitting wood and stacking wood.
    Back when I was a child(not long ago) we did not have ATV's and UTV's I think I saw and had my first 3 wheeler in the 80's. Today 90% of the kids don't want to leave their bedroom they want to sit and play video games or play on their computers. I know guys that are in their 30's that don't want to work have no willingness to go look for a job. Most just stay at home with their parents and live off their parents. They don't have the need for a job knowing their mom and dad is going to pay for their car pay for it to be fixed and pay for their needs. not to mention they don't have to buy food or pay rent.
    This Angel is learning how to have fun with her parents and learning safety as well. She is learning no matter what to show respect for the Side by Side and will be learning to respect all of the places she rides. She will learn over time how it is important for her to do the right things so no one gets hurt. You Sir have my respect for giving her the chance not many kids ever got. Trust me I remember things I was doing at her age and I am sure she will remember all she is doing with you as well.

      Thanks Dane. I'm glad we see eye to eye. I agree with everything you said and can also relate to just about all of it myself. We live in a world full of snowflakes now. Everyone is so fragile but this overprotective society causes a lot more harm than good. I'm sure most people here will agree with our way of thinking too. We need to teach kids respect, we need to teach them critical thinking and problem solving. We need to raise well rounded individuals not a bunch of lemmings. I want to teach my kids how to think for themselves. Anyone that says an activity or hobby like this doesn't teach you transferable life skills is likely part of the bigger problem. I think that anything you can do to get your kids outside and learning about all the wonderful things in the world is a good thing. There is nothing wrong with technology, I love technology. I've loved computers since I was her age and it's a big reason I am able to do what I do today. However, life is about balance and moderation. I know that we will be looking back on these days with a smile on our faces for many years to come. The memories we are making together here are priceless. I'm lucky I can provide my daughter with such experiences and I want to make sure she learns how to value things like this so that one day she too can pass some of these lessons along. I appreciate your thoughtful and well composed comment.

      I think with it being so cold the bigger lugged tires just have trouble grabbing the frozen ground. This little machine doesn’t have the wheel speed of a full size SXS. I’m assuming on a full size machine or an ATV these tires would have no issues hooking up. It’s also a much tougher and harder tire carcass then the balloon tires they send them with stock. Once things thaw up a bit they are gonna hook up awesome.

      Evelina is 8.5 right now. She’s pretty tall for her age. She fits in this machine very well. According to the literature from Polaris these machines are suggested for riders 10+ but I’d consider that a suggestion. There are 20 year olds that shouldn’t drive this thing and 6 year olds that could probably handle it like a champ. In my opinion it’s a great little starter vehicle. It’s setup very safe from the factory and has some cool features built in like an electronic speed limiter and geo fencing.

    The RZR 200 doesn't come in 4wd ?...

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  10 місяців тому +2

      Nope. Only 2WD. The main point of this vehicle is to teach young riders vehicle control and the basics of how to operate an off-road vehicle. Giving these young inexperienced riders 4WD would only lead to issues. Once the youngsters learn how to handle this machine 100% they are ready to get into a bigger machine and learn the 4WD part of the game.

    That 200 is adorable. It's a shame it isn't 4x4 and at least 500cc. The new rims and tires are fire. As for the tires, a neighbour had a Jeep Wrangler with aggressive mud tire. On appearance you would have thought that it would have been awesome in the snow. It wasn't. I think it's safe to say that it was because of the rubber compound not meant for cold temperatures.

      If they added 4X4 to this thing it would be insane lol. You could get yourself into a lot of trouble with 4X4. Not having it automatically cuts down huge on the bad situations a younger and inexperienced rider can get themselves into.

    • @randalsweeting661
      @randalsweeting661 10 місяців тому

      @AdrenalineJunkieProd Well, yes and no. 4x4 is a double-edged sword. If you drop them together in the same trail, going the same speed. the 4x4 would be safer and give the driver more control. The other side with 4x4, it can get you into a lot more trouble when that extra control is abused.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd

      @@randalsweeting661 I agree with you. However, I think that from the perspective of Polaris the risks outweigh the benefits. You can’t expect youth in this age group to make logical decisions. Most grown men struggle with that when they are out riding with friends lol 😂
