I don't think they are only talking about BAM but about BN. BN is now the parent, Brookfield itself, and BAM is just a part of that. THey also talk about BPY and other elements of BN. It's complicated because the parent company (now BN) was known as BAM for most of it's history, until just before xmas. So it is an analysis of the company formerly known as BAM but now known as BN. BAM still exists but is now just one of BN's little children. You can buy BAM like you can buy BIP or BOP or whatever else they have going - that's different than if you bought BAM before xmas - and also BN parent still owns 75% of BAM so it's not a clear division between the two. But these lads are talking about everything, parent level, though with a focus on the asset management part which is big news just now because of all this pre xmas spinning off and name changes...
ps the confusion is that they are talking about the upcoming spinoff, this is done before the name change, so where they are saying BAM, they mean what you can buy today as BN, so it's a BN analysis but done back when parent BN was known as BAM
This has been the most in-depth analysis of Brookfield I have seen so far. Highly appreciated!
Thank you!
Nima has a depth of knowledge. He's exellent.
Incredible breakdown! I've rewatched this a million times

Thank you!
Is this BAM or BN or including both?
This was done before the spinoff, that's what is confusing. It covers what you is today BN but at that time, was BAM
This was a BAM analysis or a BN analysis?
This is a BAM analysis
