Shrink-wrapped products tend to be more difficult to open, adding Peelwrap can make them easier to open.
Peelwrap is a clear pressure sensitive tape with a printed PULL TO OPEN non-adhesive edge and is applied to the shrink film before the cheese is wrapped, creating an easy open feature that runs from end seal to end seal.
The consumer grips and pulls the non-adhesive edge of the tape, removing the shrink film in one continuous piece from the cheese, without damaging the product. The cheese can be completely unwrapped without using a knife.
Opening a shrink package without Peelwrap requires a knife, making it more difficult to open, and can cause damage to the product or injury to the consumer.
Peelwrap requires no additional packaging film, complies with FDA guidelines, and maintains the film’s barrier properties.
