Great review, what gears are in this model, plastic or metal and are these models reliable..?
Metal gears in this version. I will tell you what i told someone else: "After being a Henglong customer for quite some time all i can say is, if you have a Henglong tank, Immediately start upgrading to metal parts if you plan to use it outside on rough terrain! On the basic models the plastic parts are prone to breaking. If you choose to keep it as a shelf queen or use it indoors, no need to worry. I'm seriously considering selling 95% of the tanks i own (made by henglong) in order to buy 1 Fully metal good quality tank from Mato RC or Taigen RC. Yes they are expensive $500-$1,000+ but i've heard they last a long time due to them being mostly if not all metal, depending on the versions you choose to get. And the design of the tanks and the electronics are good quality. But for those who cannot afford those tanks stick with Henglong. Their your best affordable entry level RC Tanks that do hold up if you upgrade them and take care of them."
I got the expensive one. It’s junk and henlong is a rude bad company that takes advantage of hard working people and puts out fraud garbage

Positive I return the tank because the cannon would not fire. They charged me 80 dollars for the return. I was really disappointed. These models are very delicate and poorly built they nice looking but they don’t hold up for the the price. Heads up I don’t want to see what happened to me happen to someone els. Total scam
I bought the upgrade that had metal drive gears and metal tracks. It was cool but came broken. Very dissatisfied

I had a Heng long Panzer IV F2 many many years back, it was a fun model but they had a few quirks to them. They have certainly brought up their quality in these past few years. Nothing like a Taigen or Torro but a great budget model

Wow..just got my 4 f2 version, I'll be opening tomorrow...screwdriver, and smoke liquid stuff comes with it...cool.
I actually have a panzer III ausf L... it was given to me by my dad... only thing that sucks is that my tank is missing the controller, battery and charger.. so i decided to turn my panzer into a scale model and damn i like what i did... im still hoping to find the missing parts but for now imma paint
Can I replace certain parts with separate metal versions? I see many on Amazon, but I’m not sure on compatibility

Where does the oil go to make it smoke?
I always put the oil where the little tube piece sticks out from the exhaust area.

This model came in usable. The company said I was unqualified to fix it. It cost 300 dollars. Not all Americans are rich we work hard and are forced to buy Chinese junk
