I am super impressed with Nintendo's sale this year. I feel like they have really grasped that people aren't as well off and might use the discounts to buy gifts. Thank you for the fabulous video 🥰
Also, also - hot take from me: I don't love Ooblets because it is too quirky for me and I find I low key stressful to have to deal with all the townspeople and some of the angst
Lil gator game Aka It takes two Bugsnax Little dragons cafe Silence Life is strange Hades Roller coaster tycoon 3 Gang beasts Unpacking Ni no kuni: wrath of the white witch Jenny leclue Harvestella A little to the left Potion permit Ooblets Had to write this out since there’s so many & I wanna come back to the list throughout the sale!:)
Silence is actually a sequel to a game called The Whispered World, which I would highly recommend playing first to avoid spoilers. Unfortunately it is not currently available on the Switch.
Thanks for the sale list! One note about earning gold points on physical games. It has to be one year since the original release date and has nothing to do when you bought the game.
Poor US folks not getting Potion Permit on sale (yet)! I've heard about a late-game mishap that leads to corrupted saves... That's the only thing making me hesitate on this one. It looks sooo cute and cozy!
I'll definitely be picking up Jenny Le Clue as everyone on here raves about it. My boyfriend has bought me a few games on steam for Christmas including Potion Permit and Strange Horticulture
You should really get it! It's amazing! When I bought it I literally ditched everything else until it was done cause I got so invested in the story haha
So Little Dragon Cafe I have played and it was so glitchy it was almost unplayable. It was a while ago and may have been patched since then so I'll have to give it another shot but just figured I'd mention my experience! So many good recommendations here!
Yeah, I played it on the ps4(?) and I remember the loading screen taking forever and the game getting grindy at some point. I love the artstyle though!
Idk if you have mentioned it before but a surprisingly simple but cozy game I came across by accident is Pretty Princess Party. Basically, you collect furniture and clothes to redecorate and unlock a large castle and its residents. You can play up to 4 players locally, theres a few cute minigames that are similar to mario party minigames. And you can high 5 your residents once every day for extra coins. I enjoy it. It was definitely made for kids, BUT I have personally lost many many hours to it 😂
Same here! The animation is so good!! Plus cozy gamers can still like action, and the story definitely supports the cozy notion even if the violence doesn’t!
In the US, the Nintendo Rewards program redeem is for the game card versions only and unfortunately Little Dragon Cafe is not on sale! But thank you for your videos and cozy games suggestions! I was able to find some gems thanks to you! 🥰
I do want to add a little something about the gold points talked about in the beginning of the video. It is not one year after you bought the game, but a year after it was officially released! So if you buy Pokemon Violet next year, you won't be able to claim the points
Yes I discovered that when I went to claim the points on Animal Crossing last week (I'm late to the ACNH party) and it told me I couldn't as it was out of the time period :(
@@frangipanisandgirl I understand. I got my Switch in 2020 and when I tried to claim the points for all the many games I bought (like BOTW, Mario Kart or Mario Odyssey) it told me it was past the time period for it. I was heartbroken
I want to highly recommend Child Of Light, it's one of my absolute fave games, with stunning visuals, beautiful music, and a beautiful kinda sad story, and you can play it on easy, to just have a great experience of the story, or in a more challenging mode, but either way it's pretty chill and pretty low stakes, while also being very entertaining :)
I highly recommend Alba. It's so cute about a child on summer vacation with her grandparents. The island needs help rescuing from a developer who wants to tear down a park for a hotel. You take pictures of animals and help restore the island.
OMG yes! I just finished Alba on PC recently and I loved every minute of it, it's so adorable and cozy! I loved the nature aspect of it, and that it's set on a (ficticious) Spanish island, made me want to visit in real life.
The points for a physical game only works when the game is within a year of release. I find it out recently when I looked into why I didn’t get to claim points for a new game that is 5 years old
Dang, I'm already getting ooblets for Christmas in cartridge form so I can lend it to my mom XD pretty sure my dad managed to buy it during black Friday sales so the price might have been around the same anyway
Hey Eeowna, don't know if you will see this, but you need to check out Dragon Quest Treasures - if you can afford it, I think the sales on it were all presales? I was given it for Christmas and despite looking like a fighting kind of game you actually get more experience from finding treasure than fighting monsters, and so far it seems to be a lovely cozy sort of game that isn't a farming game.
Your channel is so amazing thank you for all you do 💕 I’m part of a few cozy game groups on Facebook and anytime I see people asking for game recommendations I just send them the link to your channel because you do it the absolute best!! 😁
Great video as always, but I had to correct some misinformation. 😋 None of the Ni No Kuni games are made by Studio Ghibli. The main two are made by Level-5, the same peeps that made the Dark Cloud games, Professor Layton games, Yo-kai Watch, and one of the best life sim games on 3DS called Fantasy Life. The mobile game is made by Netmarble with Level-5's guidance. Studio Ghibli did collaborate on the first Ni No Kuni for the animated scenes, but they were not involved in the sequel, nor the mobile game. All of the Ni No Kuni games were inspired by the works of Studio Ghibli, but not made by or created by them. 🙂
Gosh I love your channel so much!!! I'm definitely going to get hades. I've been contemplating it for a while but you convinced me. Potions permit, and harvestella also look so so good I'm so tempted!
Another lovely video from you :)! Do you know when the sale will be hitting the US? Im dying to pick up Ooblets and i dont know if i can wait for the sale 😭 lol
I find this list to be cozy games, just bc it has some action or sad scenes or whatever doesn’t mean it’s not cozy. Also everyone has different definitions or categories of what they find cozy and what brings them peace. There’s something for everyone in that range from this list. Ppl trying to be strict on what THEY consider to be cozy or not cozy sounds like limited direction in creativity for cozy game category for the future. By the way, I got my switch on Christmas (US) last year and lots of games were on big sale. Add these games to your wishlist and wait until they’re on sale (if not already) I’m sure US sale happening soon.
As someone with ADHD I cannot remember the games mentioned by the time you get to the end of it. A list of the games in the description would be handy. I know that there are chapters available, but for the life of me I do not know if it was beginning, middle or towards the end of the video.
All the games are in the description 😊 if it has chapters that’s because I’ve written them in the description to put them in, they’re just down the bottom.
Damn, I'm so conflicted! I really want to play Ooblets, but usually when games are available on both PC and Switch, I buy the PC version as I tend to play in docked mode most of the time anyway (and the Switch is then docked to my PC monitor). But the only way to play it on PC right now is through the Epic Games Store and I just really don't like that one. There is a Steam page but no release date info yet, ahh! The festive season might just get to me and I'll end up buying it on the Switch.. or on both platforms, eventually.
i was so excited to get jenny le clue and hades!! and then cried bc unpacking isn't on sale in the us 😭 i'll just have to wait but jenny le clue was such a steal!!! ❤
Thank you for the sales guide, I'm gonna pick up Jenny Leclue and Ooblets :) and thanks for the tip about the gold coins, I assumed that the switch automatically applied your physical games coins! I had no idea you had to manually claim them!! That feels a bit scummy , I've missed out on so many :(
Wow, that is a *lot* of cozy games on sale. Nothing new for me on the list, but I've no doubt it will help many others find games they've yet to try and will fall in love with, just as so many of us have done. Great job compiling all the info and putting it in one place!
@@packers12to80 I'm primarily a cozy gamer, and I have something like 200 hours into Hades. The game can feel cozy once you get used to the weapons and enemy patterns within it.
