an educated guess would be wood track. and if u look at the shape op the slot, he thought about the cars reactions prior,during and after a corner...all to get those beautiful slides ;-)

The best scalextric circuit I have ever seen! It is truly amazing, so much work and detail. I take it you are in Asturias? My girlfriend is from there but now lives with me in Highlands, Scotland. ¡Puxa Asturies y Escocia!
That's cool my only comment is if it was ment to be like a race they should have "re groomed" the track. The later cars had less "snow" to slide on so they looked faster. Need to have a fresh "snow" pack for each racer.
tengo un subaru de eslot, que cuando lo coloco en la pista ba lentisimo casi ni se muebe le limpie las escobillas, le eche el lubricante este de motor que bende escalestric y nada,me pasa lo mismo con un c3, encambio a los otros 4 coches que tengo ban perfectos, así que descarté que fuera culpa de la pista. No eNcuetro ninguna tienda en la que los reparen. Sabes de que puede ser ? si alguién lo sabe porfavor que me conteste.

Hi there Brandon! The powder is just regular kitchen flour =). In order to "let it snow", just put the flour into some strainer and shake it until the track is hidden. You won't need a thick layer. When you will be tired of the snow, just vacuum the plastic track, it is really easy to "turn the tracks black again". About the cars, use a brush and compressed air to clean them. Specially important to clean properly the engine! PS: If you want to have a "soil stage" (don't know if this is the proper word in english, but I'm referring the surface of, for example, Australia or Kenya's Rallyes) you just need to use cocoa powder. If you have any doubt just ask! Merry Xmas =)
