Your birth chart is based on your exact time of birth so when you were born based on the degrees of your rising and Venus at your time of birth Taurus and Venus were both in your 12th house. When doing predictions I am using the Placidus system which puts your rising in the 1st house. So basically when you are studying about your personality traits or how certain planetary placements affect your personality based on your birth chart it is most accurate to refer to your rising being in your 12th house and Venus being in your 12th house however when you are looking at Predictive readings i recommend listening from the perspective of your first house. For example if you were wondering "How does my natal Venus placement influence my personality?" You would read about Venus in the 12th house natal. However if you were wondering were how this Venus transit would influence you during this Taurus season I would recommend watching the 1st house. I have a very similar situation to you where I have Cancer rising, but in my birth chart it was in my 12th house. So for each season i usually look at the 12th house and the first house interpretation and I find that the first house interpretation resonates more. So maybe try listening to both and see which resonates more for you and as time goes on use that as a reference point. I hope that helped.🙏🏽
