And the kicker who won this game went on the become the all time leading scorer at Auburn, the final three points of his career being the game winning field goal in the BCS 2010. Good stuff, WDE!
The Auburn Network lost two of the greatest announcers in college sports history in Jim Fyffe and Rod Bramblett. RIP Gentlemen! Miss you guys tremendously and Auburn fans will never forget you! WDE! 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
He was a good one. Jim Fyfe was great as well. The current guy is pretty good but it's hard to follow a legendary guy like Bramblet. Rod called some of the greatest moments in AU history in 2004,2010, and 2013.
pianomikie I agree. Cox was an under appreciated QB. If Tubs had turned Borges loose, Auburn might have been able to close out another SEC Championship.
This team, to me, will always be the best, most talented auburn team to ever suck lol. How they managed to lose to both South Florida and Miss State, I'll never understand.
War Eagle! Also, brought back bad memories due to the ticker at the bottom. Seeing the Mets score from that day and knowing of the impending collapse the very next day.
War Eagle Yeah Tommy was a hell of a coach then after 6 strait wins over Alabama one close loss and they fired his ass but I Love Malzhan coaching here now
Tommy Tuberville wasnt fired (by forced resignation) because he had a shitty year in 2008. He was fired because of who was at Alabama, having an undefeated year in only his second year there, while he was having a shitty year in 2008 lol. Had Nick Saban not taken the job at Alabama, I'm 99% sure Tommy Tuberville would still be at Auburn with a couple nattys. After 2003, everything was in place. It was all there. Undefeated in 2004..Then, Brandon Cox--who may have been the most underrated quarterback in the history on the southeastern conference--took the reigns, but just a series of fluke injuries and bouts of shitty luck and being blown out by shitty Arkansas and UGAly teams that they should've beaten by 40 kinda fucked them. Although, if im not mistaken, 2006 and 2007 they would beat the eventual National Champion both years....actually...i know they did in 2006, not sure about 2007. Im pretty sure they did rhough.
And now Auburn is trash and Florida is ranked per usual. Florida also has 3 titles, Auburn has 1. By comparison, by coaching staff and talent, Florida is probably going to body Auburn next year. And the game is in Gville too.
Haha I thought about that as soon as I posted that. Almost that whole team made it all the way. I look forward to a great A-Day this spring and season in the fall WDE!!!
Bammers are still butt-hurt over Cam, and now Oregon and Miss. St. are on probation and AU came out clean which AU fans knew we would the whole time. And they still talk about buying Cam, really bammers, Saban pays better than most NFL teams and with even talent he isn't that great and you know you claim recruiting national titles and big booster money bought those fictional titles.
Chizik wasn't cut out as a Head Coach, but his accomplishments as a Defensive Coordinator speak for themselves...THREE consecutive Thorpe Award Winners, TWO undefeated teams, TWO National Championships, 2001 (#13 scoring defense), 2002 (#13 scoring defense), 2003 (#9 scoring defense) and 2004 (#1 scoring defense), 2005 (#8 scoring defense), 2006 (#26 scoring defense). Any Defensive Coordinator minus Kirby Smart and his roided-up 5-stars will take those numbers.
I was confused about some of those rankings until i realized it's from 2007, the craziest year in college football. Hawaii at 19? West Virginia at 5? 😂😂😂
What would you like? I have videos of Iron Bowls 1982, 1983, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1993, 1995, 1997, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2010. Or would you prefer 1972 Punt bammer Punt?
Could have sworn Chizik was Tuberville's Defensive Coordinator in 2002 (#13 ranked scoring defense), 2003 (#9 ranked scoring defense) and 2004 (#1 ranked scoring defense). Also could have sworn Chizik hired Auburn's current Head Coach who was his Offensive Coordinator in 2009 (#17 ranked scoring offense) and 2010 (#7 ranked scoring offense). Nah...couldn't have happened.
Chizik's brilliant defense gave up 24 points to John L Smith and your 5* QB scored 7 points and like 50 interceptions on the worst Arkansas defense I have ever watched. You should be glad that clown is gone. Chizik was horrible.
LOL Stan White is such a homer. Everyone is always cheating auburn, etc etc. Why wouldn't Lee Corso pick UF? They were ranked 4th and auburn off two loses. SMH
And the kicker who won this game went on the become the all time leading scorer at Auburn, the final three points of his career being the game winning field goal in the BCS 2010. Good stuff, WDE!
Yeah he's a AU legend for sure
@Josh Blocker So was almost our entire offensive line.
He is now a doctor….Dr. Byrum.
He was probably thinking, "Good. I wanted to kick a better one anyway."
“See you later alligator” he’s irreplaceable. Rest In Peace.
ScoDucks2019 HES GONNA RUN THE MISSED FIELD GOAL BACK!
THEY ARENT GONNA KEEP THEM OFF THE FIELD TONIGHT
HE RAN IT BACK 109 YARDS
TOUCHDOWN AUBURN!!!
One of the most famous calls by one of the greatest to ever call the game. RIP Rod Bramblett,
War Eagle!!
The Auburn Network lost two of the greatest announcers in college sports history in Jim Fyffe and Rod Bramblett. RIP Gentlemen! Miss you guys tremendously and Auburn fans will never forget you! WDE! 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
I miss Rod Bramblett calling AU games. Great memories listening to his call and watching this video. War Eagle!!
He was a good one. Jim Fyfe was great as well. The current guy is pretty good but it's hard to follow a legendary guy like Bramblet. Rod called some of the greatest moments in AU history in 2004,2010, and 2013.
Thanks for sharing! This game was a great Auburn memory.
Al Borges was Auburn’s OC he was a great playcaller for Auburn.
Yeah he really helped turn Jason Campbell around in 04.
Tubbs had a hell of a streak of beating top 10 teams
Jim Dandy he couldn't get a good QB to save his life though
Jason Campbell???
Here's a true fact! Auburn has knocked off the #1 team in the country more times than any other team in history.
Jason Cambell was Amazing 2004 he was in NewYork and should have won the heismen
@@conservativeamerica9655 WAR DAMN EAGLE
AUBURN the kiler of Empires
One of the all time WEST vs EAST SEC RIVALS bring this game back
Orange and Blue Bowl
There’s something your don’t see everyday.
A left handed quarterback vs a left handed quarterback
Amen
Very rare
This freshman bunch won them a national championship!
and was cam still at florida too? lol
You have the best videos. Overlain with the announcers, no crazy music, no BS, great plays on both sides (mostly AU though). Very well done.
That AU kicker doing the gator chomp was hilarious.
And the backup QB went on to catch a TD pass in the BCSCG.
Ahh, those were the days. Brandon was an outstanding QB. I was at the game the year before, which was even more spectacular.
smoothcollected he just ran the offense. Sure he wasn’t Cam or Jason, but he did everything he needed to for auburn to win games.
pianomikie I agree. Cox was an under appreciated QB. If Tubs had turned Borges loose, Auburn might have been able to close out another SEC Championship.
Urban Myer has never beat Auburn !! WAR EAGLE !!
Neither did tim tebow
Neither did Tebow.
or Emmitt Smith
Dan Mullen just did. 24-13. Go buy some clearasil for your boy Nix.
Florida does not want to play AU. Sec east is trash.
Will Muschamp, one of my favorite Auburn coaches!
Man I miss these days cause at we had a slightly above average team.We won more than we lost lol...
This team, to me, will always be the best, most talented auburn team to ever suck lol. How they managed to lose to both South Florida and Miss State, I'll never understand.
What are you talking about? Undefeated Auburn won the NC in 2010! If we did buy Cam, we got a helluva deal!
Thanks so much for putting all these great videos together! War Eagle!!
That quote though SEE YOU LATER ALLIGATOR!!
If you look at the scores of the other games, there were a TON of upsets!! This was an exciting upset saturday!!
2007 was called upset of the year Probably one the best, crazy and the most fun year of college football
lol i'm a florida fan and it was funny as hell when he said "see ya later alligator"💀😂
And at the end when the boys sing the fight song! Crazy.
Thanks so much 🧡💙🦅 WDE!! wow 4:51
THIS was the CRAZIEST and CHAOTIC College Football Season of 2007.
The one team Tebow didn't beat.
A lot of good players on this field.
Thanks! Enjoy putting them together. War Eagle!
War Eagle! Also, brought back bad memories due to the ticker at the bottom. Seeing the Mets score from that day and knowing of the impending collapse the very next day.
Hmm...this offensive line was full of freshman at this time and they all went on to win the national title in 2010
Love your videos. They kick ass. War Eagle! Love seeing Wes.
War Eagle Yeah Tommy was a hell of a coach then after 6 strait wins over Alabama one close loss and they fired his ass but I Love Malzhan coaching here now
Justin Berryman how about now?
Tuberville quit. Jacobs tried to talk him out of it but he went ahead and quit
ty Tubs u was an awesome Coach. We miss ya thats for sure! wde!
Best game for Mario Fannin in his 11 years at Auburn
Ah man I love Brandon cox my favorite qb of all time! War eagle!
smoothcollected look at the date
Tommy Tuberville wasnt fired (by forced resignation) because he had a shitty year in 2008. Ive said it for years.
I want the riverboat gambler back.
WDE
joshua hand he’s not gonna coach again till his mom dies, sadly
I’d love him back though
Auburn has for the most part always had flordia's number. War eagle!!!
Especially when Florida is Top 4. 1993 #4 / 1994 #1 / 2006 #2 / 2007 #4
2001 #2 also
yeah was just thinking i loved watching this game every year, we spoiled their national championship hopes so many times.
And now Auburn is trash and Florida is ranked per usual. Florida also has 3 titles, Auburn has 1. By comparison, by coaching staff and talent, Florida is probably going to body Auburn next year. And the game is in Gville too.
Gabe G. Auburn has 8 titles dude. What the heck you spitting??
Cam Newton play for Florida at that time
Ziemba was a 5 star true freshman
Auburn…the only SEC team Tim Tebow didn’t beat
"See you later alligator" is such a great call and im a WVU fan lol
Haha I thought about that as soon as I posted that. Almost that whole team made it all the way. I look forward to a great A-Day this spring and season in the fall WDE!!!
Auburn was 2-0 against Tebow, tho.
Tebow was getting ready to cry right there
What if this season ends like this game did? Will Muschamp upsetting Urban Meyer
+Flipping Work Auburn certainly has the kicker to do it.
Major Wright made a tremendous hit to which forced a fumble but can't remember at what point in the game it happened
Wonderful game

2:21 Ahhh the irony.....
Tuberville preached defense and offense that's
something Chizik knew nothing about
see ya later, alligator!
tehblizz Win your second title then talk. 3>1
Gabe G. Beat auburn then start trashing them. Auburn > Florida
@@Ggdp97 You're years late.
Gotta love ole Rod!
I was confused about some of those rankings until i realized it's from 2007, the craziest year in college football. Hawaii at 19? West Virginia at 5? 😂😂😂
I think tubberville was an awesome coach like malzahn is
See Florida thought they were going to win.
Sike!
RIP😔
Muschamp just looks happier on Auburn's sideline.
What would you like? I have videos of Iron Bowls 1982, 1983, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1993, 1995, 1997, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2010. Or would you prefer 1972 Punt bammer Punt?
2004. That was a great win to cap off a great undefeated regular season
MMM... GATOR SOUP! Sounds delicious.
what an awesome job you do on these videos man! War Eagle!!
Wish we had cox in 2024 sheesh
War Eagle from NYC!!
nothing better than seeing the gators cry.
This wasn’t really surprising at the time tbh. AU had horses and will again
Tim Tebow isnt the only Gator Great that couldnt be Auburn (2gm minimun) E. Smitb was the other!
Actually, only Ziemba & Pugh made it to 2010.
kodi burns too
Auburn can do it again. Go Noles. :)
But they didn’t. At least they did a lot better than your shitty Seminoles did the last two seasons.
I bet Auburn misses Tuberville
Just clinched the west with wins vs #1 UGA & #1 Bama while the Gators have no head coach.
Yes!!!
Damn muschamp used to get fired the fuck up
Tebow never beat Auburn.
Randy McRae And Auburn never won a title in those days lol. You had to basically intercept a veteran as your qb to win your first crystal football
Tuberville was Head Coach of the 2010 National Champions? Wow...somehow missed that.
rscotta831 Tuberville left following 08
Gene Chizik was our HC
I remember watching this haha.
Aaron Hernandez literally shot 2 people 1 in the head later this night reggie nelson was w him. They need to make a movie about this man's life
Chizik's brilliant defense gave up 24 points to John L Smith and your 5* QB scored 7 points and like 50 interceptions on the worst Arkansas defense I have ever watched. You should be glad that clown is gone. Chizik was horrible.
Auburn is going to get absolutely mangled by a Florida 2nd String in 2019. Y’all miss them Seniors huh?
Thanks for the bullentin board material.

He beat Alabama in 2006 and 2008.
