to this day the whole “we’re not blood related” shit irks me bc its clearly a last minute thing they added on, they made that whole design for byakuya and they’re supposed to be step father and step son lmao ight

Tbh I once heard a “rumor” that Byakuya is Senku uncle and just not his actual dad which is more believable but honestly still doesn’t make sense. Though I’d rather think that’s the case than them only being step dad and step son since we actually don’t learn anything else about Senku family besides him. But it seems like it was just made for shipping imo 😭

Uncle would def make more sense. There’s nothing wrong with Senku being adopted by him but it’s just the fact that they look similar and act similar just kind of struck me as “oh yeah that’s his dad”
