So I had to track down the source of these “It’s just an MS EQ” comments and I believe I found the UA-cam responsible 😂. And that person completely missed the point of this plugin, it is for those who value workflow. I’ve been mixing 15+ years and can manually do a-lot of things that plugins do. But I really love when a company takes a process or workflow and simplifies it into an easy to use simple plugin. It is well known among mastering engineers that MS eq and side level manipulation has always been the best way to get wider mixes so SPL is not cheating us, but Everyone is at different skill levels and if you give most people an ms eq they are going to ruin their mix pretty fast 😅. If you love to manually go into an EQ and tweak all the parameters each time that’s fine, but stating that this is a MS EQ isn’t really “exposing” anything as that’s ALWAYS been the best way to get wider mixes. When you check the plugin with pluginDR you can see that it is adjusting multiple parameters simultaneously. Once again it’s a workflow plugin and takes a well known technique and makes it simple & accessible.
The plugins this year are INSANE! Did you check out the parallel low end tone on the Black Box HG-Q yet? Cableguys also released a sick drum production plugin today.
I checked it on my Elysia Kontrol (flipped speakers to mono) and it sounds great still. Don’t know how they are doing it. I think they may be adjusting volume of the sides rather than messing with phase 🙌🙌
@@WhoIsAlexElliott ME TO I CHECKED ON MONO ITS SUPER BUT WHAT I HEAR ON MIX BUS LIKE PUNCH LOOST A LITTLE BIT (GENELEC 6351B WITH APOLLO) JUST THAT BUT EFFECT ITS GOOD
@@TeeDubz honestly I may even buy the hardware! 🥹🙌. And thanks brother I’m going to do a video in the future about the plugin making the bass. Stay tuned 💯💥
Spitfire audio Albion one legato patch is the main but I’m sorry if you get it and it sounds nothing like this. I’ve added a ton of effects. I think my chain was Valhalla Reverb > Reels > Devious Machines Infiltrator > Neutron 4 for EQ and Trash distortion. Then I bounced the whole thing to audio and pitched it down an octave and layered that in. I then used native instruments Stradivari Cello layered to make the second half sound bigger 💥👊.
Thanks a lot for the compliment bro. I don’t sell beats in the traditional way. But much prefer to lock in with people and make things bespoke and from scratch. 👊

MS Eq or adjusting the level of the sides has always been the finest way to get wider mixes so it’s obvious to me that this would be a form of Ms eq.😅. This is a workflow plugin and in my opinion is well implemented as when you analyse this unit via plugin doctor you can see that adjusting things is moving multiple EQ parameters at once (Frequency, Q value, Gain, etc). It takes a very well known technique amongst mastering engineers and makes it accessible and easy to use. For those who value workflow and speed then this is for them! If you’re happy to go in and tweak all the things yourself on an EQ then that’s fine also! The same way some people are fine loading their own impulse responses because most reverbs are just different looking GUI’s.
Hi! Could you maybe also test the mono compatibility of the plugin? Because I think thats a main feature, that you don’t lose any sound in mono, compared to other stereo plugins (that it still sounds fat and full). At least that’s what I understand. Haven’t tested it yet.
@@user-is7sp7zx3lthe mono compatability is fantastic. I switched my speakers into mono and then bypassed the plugin and didn’t hear a perceivable difference. This is because the EQ and shift is only affecting the sides 👌👌

Skip this plugin, its literally a M/S EQ and not even well implemented.
