I wanted to know about the overall positives and negatives of studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering in University of Wollongong regarding PR facilities, Job opportunities , climate, public transport facilities and living costs.
It is a regional area however its not as strong as the areas I mentioned in this video, this us because wollongong is near Sydney however the areas I mentioned are very far from sydney. If you study engineering from there, theres a good chance of you getting the PR however your chances are higher of getting pr from perth, Adelaide or tasmania. For example from Wollongong it might take you 2 years after graduation to get PR if you get a job, however from these areas it will take around 1 year ish. You will get PR from Wollongong and these areas as well, but the difference is that from Wollongong it might take you a bit more time thats it. As Wollongong is near sydney it is far more developed then the areas I talked about in this video. The job opportunities(part time and professional)are much higher compared to the regions I talked about. Public transport is also way better. Living cost is lower then sydney but a bit higher then the regions I talked about. Wollongong is way ahead in all parameters compared to adelaide,Perth, tasmania, except for PR opportunities. As I said earlier, you can also get PR from Wollongong, but its a bit easier to get pr from the regions I mentioned compared to Wollongong.
