Dreamcatcher's Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy, which deals with bullying and hate comments, in particular the online variant ("A trick behind a mask, a ridiculous freak" from Scream). Boca has the lines "Why do you fill your precious time with hate" and "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. As you probably know, several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome! Who said you can't have three different musical genres in one song?
Yes, Dreamcatcher is all about rock in their title tracks with a seasoning of other genres like EDM and hip hop for extra flavor. Their B-sides are a variety that cover the entire musical spectrum and they are also known as the Queens of Covers. They can do whatever they're asked to do and they are expert dancers. If you really get into them you'll also find out that they are most charming and funny group of women you'll ever come across. They've been through a lot of struggles together because rock is not popular in South Korea and they probably would have disbanded except for their large international following in the US and Europe. As a result they are extremely close and saying they are seven sisters is not an exaggeration. Their company is unusual in that it gives them complete freedom to just be themselves and supports everything they do. They never disappoint, and InSomnia (their fan name) are eagerly awaiting their comeback set for May 24th.
DreamCatcher is my Ult Group in all of K-Pop (maybe even all of Music in general) and I am OT7 because I can't possibly have a bias in this AWESOME group! Their debut song as DreamCatcher is called 'Chase Me' and their debut date was (Friday) the Thirteenth of January, 2017. 'Chase Me' starts off what is called the Nightmare Series which lasted six Main Title tracks of their Korean Language songs and one Japanese Language song that is said to be the 'alternate ending' to the series (and I believe it). There's so much more to their story from before they were DreamCatcher!

Sometimes things are rock heavy and sometimes rock plays a more complementary role. So all you can guarantee about their title tracks is rock involvement. Experiencing how each song implements those elements is a fun journey. However, their b-sides don't have the rock requirement so you get a really nice mix of different sounds. Still some rock songs, but also some really unexpected genres given their signature sound. On top of all that, they are genuinely good people. You'll come for the music but stay for the members. Scream / BOCA / Odd Eye is their anti cyber bullying trilogy which was impressive for a kpop girl group to tackle a very sensitive topic. They just had a comeback with a new song BONYAGE which was the part 3 of a trilogy (MAISON / VISION / BONYAGE). The trilogy has a strong message of humanity destroying the earth and we need to really start taking care of it before we destroy it and takes us out for good with it. Dreamcatcher's fandom is called InSomnia, somnia is dream in Spanish and by adding InSomnia together. Meaning we are always together in a dream with Dreamcatcher.

I highly recommend checking out more of their stuff, Scream and Odd Eye to start, since Boca is part 2 of their dystopia trilogy. Scream is part 1 and Odd Eye is part 3. They do have 7 members, just so you are aware, since both Boca and Scream will only show 6 members, because one of them, Handong, was not present during those eras since she was in China for a survival show and was stuck their during the pandemic. Dreamcatcher are having a comeback tomorrow “Bon voyage” it’s the last chapter of their serie Apocalypse. Boca was part of the serie Dystopia with Scream, Boca and Odd eye. Now their second serie is made of MAISON, VISION and soon BON VOYAGE. Le Sserafim has two members who were part of IZ*ONE; Kim Chaewon, who is now the group leader of Le Sserafim, and Miyawaki Sakura who now finds herself being the oldest member of the group. Their tallest member, Huh Yunjin, was born in Korea but grew up in New York (her American name is Jennifer but she prefers to be called Jen). She trained as an Opera singer! She moved back to Korea to be an Idol. She also writes lyrics and has some AMAZING girl-power solo work on Le Sserafim's channel. No stopping her! The REALLY FLEXIBLE girl, Nakamura Kazuha, is THAT flexible because she was training to be a Ballerina! She has won competitions at that. But she quit training for that to become a K-Pop Idol (it's even part of the lyrics; she hung up her pointe shoes). She keeps doing her stretches every day so she will never lose her flexibility.

Dreamcatcher are having a comeback tomorrow “Bon voyage” it’s the last chapter of their serie Apocalypse. Boca was part of the serie Dystopia with Scream, Boca and Odd eye. Now their second serie is made of MAISON, VISION and soon BON VOYAGE. If you really want to see more of them (they’re beyond amazing truly) you should check the first serie and then the second🥰💕 they’re a 7 group with Jiu as the leader lead vocal/dance and also visual, Sua as the main dancer, sub-vocalist and lead rapper, Siyeon as the main vocalist, Handong as sub vocalist and I tend to say visual but I don’t know if it’s official (she’s for sure a visual Cos omg-) Yoohyeon as lead vocalist but same like Handong she’s like lead dancer too, Dami as the main rapper lead dancer and sub vocalist and Gahyeon as the maknae lead rapper and sub vocalist. They can all be main vocalist tho ksjsjsj

Le Sserafim has two members who were part of IZ*ONE; Kim Chaewon, who is now the group leader of Le Sserafim, and Miyawaki Sakura who now finds herself being the oldest member of the group.
Their tallest member, Huh Yunjin, was born in Korea but grew up in New York (her American name is Jennifer but she prefers to be called Jen). She trained as an Opera singer! She moved back to Korea to be an Idol. She also writes lyrics and has some AMAZING girl-power solo work on Le Sserafim's channel. No stopping her!
The REALLY FLEXIBLE girl, Nakamura Kazuha, is THAT flexible because she was training to be a Ballerina! She has won competitions at that. But she quit training for that to become a K-Pop Idol (it's even part of the lyrics; she hung up her pointe shoes). She keeps doing her stretches every day so she will never lose her flexibility.
