“I’d like to suggest a topic for your next episode about music-its beauty, its impact on the soul, and the memories it creates. I love how you approach topics, and as a music lover, I hope you’ll explore this one. Wishing you continued success!”💕
Hi Mark and Kat, great lesson! Woooow, Mark was really fast! but it's much appreciated, so we can get used to the 'normal' speed. So I think I am now ready to travel to the UK and to visit their pubs and restaurants. In Mexico, at least in my city, Monterrey, we do have both types of restaurant services, 'american' and 'mexican' (which in many ways may be more similar to the UK service). Thanks and Blassings.
Very interesting thanks for sharing! We hope it will make your first British restaurant experience a bit easier! Remember that in mainstream British pubs, you will have to stand up and order at the bar yourself! It's a slightly different method, we're considering making a video about it in the future!
😄 🤣 Little by little it will start to get easier, then one day it will all 'click'. Honestly though the sentences in restaurants are very very fast, so we wanted to recreate here as well!
"At all" is mostly a friendly extra phrase British people put at the end of a sentence. In the video you could see: - "Would you like any drinks [at all]?" The server could also say: - "Would you like any starters [at all]?" - "Would you like any drinks [at all]?" The question is exactly the same even without this phrase - but it's just a friendly extra phrase!
Good question! "to float over" means to come over to your table. We use this with waiters / servers because they come over to your table frequently and in a friendly way. You can also say: "Waiters tend to [float around] and make sure everyone is okay." "Our server was [floating between] a few different tables so it was hard to get attention." Hope that makes sense!

Uk is the heart of the world & the civilization of the entire world
There's definitely a lot of history in the UK!
It's pretty useful for daily life. well done. Thank you
We're glad you think so - thanks for watching!

hi teachers could you please explain the using of at all ?
"At all" is mostly a friendly extra phrase British people put at the end of a sentence.
In the video you could see:
- "Would you like any drinks [at all]?"
The server could also say:
- "Would you like any starters [at all]?"
- "Would you like any drinks [at all]?"
The question is exactly the same even without this phrase - but it's just a friendly extra phrase!
Hi what do you mean by people float over your table?
Good question!
"to float over" means to come over to your table. We use this with waiters / servers because they come over to your table frequently and in a friendly way.
You can also say:
"Waiters tend to [float around] and make sure everyone is okay."
"Our server was [floating between] a few different tables so it was hard to get attention."
Hope that makes sense!
Do you hold any private session in learning english?
Unfortunately we're not offering 1-on-1 lessons at the moment, but if that changes we'll be sure to let you know!

Odió tantos anuncios, cada dos minutos así no puedo estudiar bien 😢
Sorry about that - we turn on the advertisements but we can't control how often they play unfortunately.
