I wonder if you realise that the gangster helping Gi hoon look for the slappy guy was the same gangster that he owed money to in s1. (The blood licker 😂). He WORKS for gi hoon now 🙂
The season was good. Just feels like they took one whole season and cut it in half though in order to get 2 seasons out of it lol. That's really the only complaint I have and have seen from others. Other than that, solid 8.5/10.
Seasons 2 and 3 were filmed at the same time. Since Netflix wanted 3 seasons, they split the 17 episodes into season 2 and season 3. The lottery vs bread foreshadows the votings later on during the games.
Yeah I think the director got screwed over by Netflix because they wanted 3 seasons. At least he seemed upset/stressed by it in some of his interviews. ☹️
There's no direct answer about his hair from the creator. The actor who plays Gi-Hun believes that it was an act of courage to pick such a vibrant colour. That is the same courage he needed to pick up and start a new life after all that happened to him. The red hair at least in his eyes is a symbol of trying to start a new life. Also the beauty of the final scene is that Gi-Hun could trust him to shoot himself. He already stated and boasted that he was cut out for this... for the rules... the lack of attachment to life and just being attached to the rules. He had based his life on the game and it's rules, to shoot Gi-Hun instead and cheat would be unfathomable to him, he wouldn't even break the rules to save his father.
people forget one important fact, GiHun does not know he is crazy enough and uses real bullets. We the viewers know , we saw him playing with the 2 loan sharks. GiHun does not, hence he could assume what if i try to shoot him, its damn blanks and he has another gun. But both are willing to die GiHun cuz the guilt , the guy choose the song time to say goodbye hence he is willing to end it,does not give a damn. 😅

Wow, I remember your Lost reactions with your friend, don't think you ever finished though? If you watch a lot of Kdrama and your dad isn't that interested, I would recommend some older Korean movies which are super brutal and amazing. Oldboy, I Saw The Devil, The Man from Nowhere, etc.
its not far fetched they cannot find the island there are like 3 thousands Island in South Korea, also in real life they cannot find lost airplanes, boats which is full with technologies which for locating them, obviously non expert cannot find a unknown island. 😅
I loved Squid Game season 1, but some games were boring. Games on season 2 are better. Also, you should watch 'Alice in Borderland', which is a bit more fantastic / sci-fi with way better games.
