Never heard of these, so glad there is an alternate! Now I won’t hesitate to purchase more pins in the future. Thank you for taking the time to post this tutorial. Take care :)
Thank you for posting. I tried using cardboard between the clasp and the stud...ugh! I like your patches referencing God, Amen! God bless and ride safe!
Who could guess a mustachioed legend would be the one to tell me how to protect my pins. (As I was watching this video two of my pins fell off my bag... kinda funny though)
Well hi Dennis... you certainly convince me in a very short space of time that these are really good idea have you encountered any setbacks in these since since this video was made? Have suffered with the fact of my PIN badges getting lost for so many years and also very hard to get back and badges that have been bought from rallies as they are normally a buy on the day hard to find after thing. What's less than 2-minutes of yours and was buying them before you finished... Many thanks you pointed me in the right direction by sheer luck
Thank you for watching, Suzy! I've had great success with these backs. I have 3 or 4 pins that are not replaceable, that's what got me looking for a secure back. After several years of wearing these, I've had no problem with them getting loose or losing a pin.
Thank you for your kind reply and all I've been doing since I bought this product is wondering why I've never come across it before and also very glad that I found your video because that was the icing on the cake that's what sold this product to me... thank you for being the icing on the cake on this situation can finally reinstate my very beloved pin badges
The ones I use are 3/16". They seem to work well with a full grain leather vest with a lining. You might have to adjust the size based on the thickness of what you are putting pins on. Thanks very much for watching!
Thanks for watching, Lennie. Yes, I think these things will work on anything as long as you can get enough of the pin thru the material to affix these keepers.
Was just putting some on my motorbike bag and was suddenly thinking will these stay on? Would just the vibration from the bike just loose these 5 mins into the ride.

Thank you for watching, Sabrina! Yes, I have a couple of pins that can't be replaced...I wouldn't wear them on my vest without these keepers.

Thanks for watching! These pin backs will keep them on, even from vibration from the bike.
Can u please tell me which wrench pinbacks are better- with or without the rubber screws inside
I haven't used the ones with the rubber inserts. The ones I use do not have the rubber in them and I've never had a problem. Thanks for watching, Val!
