I've watched this back a bunch and I'm still just not seeing the Twork 30 everyone's talking about. Pass' material is so cleanly, tightly put together, and rapped so well, that he completely controls the pace of the battle to me, and it makes Twork's slow setups feel agonizing, like the 6-8 bar buildup for conjoined twins. I do agree that Twork had the biggest moments of the battle, but it felt like Pass kept me engaged for 90-95% of his material and Twork had me engaged for about 20-30%, so to me Pass cleared him. Even the Bill Collector shit - which was the biggest moment of the battle imo and hella smart of Twork to do since Pass is known for responding to opponents when they're rapping - felt like it took too long to get there, and some of the shit he said in the setup wasn't good to me. It's fire that Twork fans felt like they got what they wanted out of his performance tho, and I'm still looking forward to Twork coming back to face The Saurus at some point hopefully soon
You might not be aware of your personal preference. It's battle rap and Twork is embodying it to the fullest extend when he's showing up. He is talking directly to his opponent, puts pressure on them, is lyrical, unique, has performance, projection and creates big moments. If you prefer the eminem type rapper that just raps down stuff that he would also spit on a mixtape with the exact same flow, then that's fine. My favorite battlers used to be the likes of Dizaster, Charron etc. until I started writing down lyrics myself for me to start appreciating the battlers who got it all. Like Danny Myers, Twork or A Ward who are elite on about every stat there is in battle rap. People who say that Twork is overrated aren't really into battle rap. He's Avocado's favorite and is highly regarded by other elite battle rappers who know what they're talking about.
In the building this might have been a bodybag, but watching it again just now I have it a debatable. Twork got the first clearly, and I would give him the second clear except that it seems like he Jersey'd out early. His third had the haymaker of the whole damn event, but Pass had a cleaner round more dope content, so it's hard to call.

This was a much more competitive battle than it was made out to originally be, in my opinion. I had Twork with the 1st round, Pass with the 2nd, and I had Pass slightly edging the 3rd. Twork could've gotten the 3rd if he had thrown in an "I'm Strapped In" moment to end the round on a high note. That said, I thought Twork had really good haymakers and multis throughout the battle, but Pass was super slick with the angles, rapping and punchlines.
