10/10 This video is beautiful filmed and detailed. That out and back trail from China Beach looks amazing, thanks for the recommendations. I love that 10k coast trail at East Sooke Park.

The China/Mystic Beach region is transporting.

Thetis Lake is within spitting distance of my front door; it's a gem.

Thank you. Glad I took the ferry to Victoria after hiking Glacier National Park in Washington. Was instantly drawn to Victoria’s charm and looking forward exploring it more, when next there.

Moving to Victoria in March & can't wait to explore more of the island! Mystic Beach is one of my favorites - so beautiful! Thank you for the recommendations!

Thanks for the feedback. It’s a good place to start at the very least and there are plenty of other great places to explore!

Nicely done. Your list consists of some very popular and therefore crowded locales. I’d have Mt Braden, Sugarloaf, Empress, Ragged, McDonald and others in there rather than super busy MQ, Wells and Finlayson. Summit trails are just as good and often signed as well since the inauguration of CRD’s Sooke Hills Wilderness Park.
But, as you say, it’s a personal choice.

Great list! I would also add the Coast Trail in East Sooke Park, from Aylard Farm to Beechey Head, or further to Cabin Point if you have more than a couple hours.

Ah great one! Haven't been out there in a while so I think it escaped me. Thanks for the reminder to revisit!

Mt Wells is great! There are some trails in beyond the reservoir that link up to goldstream that are great as well!
