ABOUT THIS SERIES:
For centuries the nodes of the Moon 'Rahu' and 'Ketu' have baffled Vedic astrologers in terms of the results they give in their 'mahadasha' and 'antardasha'.
In fact, when it comes to analyzing their influence in a person's life from the perspective of transits, it becomes even more tricky as there doesn't really seem to be a consensus on how to look at and understand at their impact.
I have spent a lot of years reading, writing and researching on the topic of the 'nodes' and have been lucky to have received a lot of love and recognition for the same. In this series, I seek to share this knowledge with my viewers along with a very unique perspective that will not only help you understand the energy of the nodes but also how to channel that energy to fulfill your life purpose.
With each episode, we shall be studying the impact of the North node and South node of the Moon via placements in the natal chart, 'Navamsha' (D-9), 'Dashamasha'(D-10), 'Shashtiamsha' (D-60) and transits. I will expand into the other divisional charts as well but let's hope and aim to fulfill the primary objectives first.
ABOUT KETU IN SIXTH HOUSE in birth chart
Whenever you have the South node of the Moon 'Ketu' in the sixth house of the birth chart, that shows us that one of the primary objectives of your soul in this lifetime is learning how to leverage your learnings from struggles, conflicts and difficulties of your life to shape a new identity for yourself.
You know the kind of people who start doing one thing in life and then undergo a major transformation and reinvent themselves completely?
They are often 'Ketu' in 6th house individuals.
This is one placement that can be heavily 'karmic' and indicate often that the native had to deal with some hard responsibilities in life that they could not 'let go' of. This can be anything from having to resurrect a failing family business or take care of a family member with difficult habits or behaviors.
Interestingly, this is also the placement that can astonish the native at their ability to overcome great challenges, competitions and difficulties in life. Quite often these can be the type of individuals who just sat for an important exam without expectations and ended up scoring so well that they not only got into a good college but on a scholarship!
No matter how easily 'karmic' victories may fall in the laps of these people, they will often find that every effortless victory pulls them further and further into ways of life that feel more and more restrictive.
The trick to working with ‘Ketu’ in this placement is accepting the fact that 'work' is an integral aspect of the material experience. 'Work' and 'constant work' in fact such as in the form of struggles, challenges, chores and workouts.. are 'rent' that needs to be paid to exist in this 'loka' in a physical form.

My life was pretty good, parents sent me overseas to study law, but... ended up all over the place; i guess Rahu got other plans for me. Anyway, i never had any pressures or responsibilities but,... I had a very interesting life, as if everything had been planned out for me. Its like, i do this this this, universe say no, took everything away, and gave me something else.... 😂 so i finally gave up,... and followed my destiny. So far so good. ❤

i have ketu in 6th with saturn as well....u have given a very realistic pov on this.... n yes.... the adults in my house dont fulfill their responsibilities welll n expect me to bear the burden of their lack alwaysss.... was expected to take responsibilities like a DIL even when i was unmarried.... just coz DILs wanted to get rid of their responsibilities...life has been tough ...but i hold experience as to life like a 60 yr old now ..have seen so much injustice

You basically just told my finances story to me. This is hands to him. Even with the dog and family example. It's like you watched his life. He is reinventing who he is now. I don't understand it sometimes. He is so motivated to always work. He has always been an entrepreneur. He has always done construction and now he owns his own restaurant. I pushed him to do this. So throughout my learning of astrology i interpretation about it, it is about Rahu and ketu... What we have relise and what we have accept and that define through its placement in kundali more precisely what exactly it is by its house number.... If whatever we want to achieve is by understanding rahu and ketu what they want with us... So they are the best planets in kalyug... Because the transition period of earth when demons moved to patal lok and gods moved to sky and humans introduced to earth and just before that sagar manthan happened and rahu and ketu came into story initially it was swarbhanu demon... If we see karmas are directly associated with humans... And rahu ketu follow Shani dev and shani dev is god for justice... And i have littel bit doubts about one more thing....
