Friends don't go for honda dio and activa 110cc. Better option is to just spend additional 8,000/- and buy Suzuki Access 125cc bs6. You will get better mileage, more powerful trustworthy and reliable smoother engine.

Dio is good for long term use bro. And now that there is telescopic front suspension ride through bad conditions is not much of an issue.

Disc won't make much of a difference but still is better compared to drum brake.
