Steel sports watches, such as Explorer II or Sub no date in similar territory. That’s a significant improvement. But I agree, anything released this year at Watches and Wonders will go to preferred customers.

The problem with the logic of a platinum Explorer is that, if a customer didn’t want TT, then they would just go the steal. Precious metals and the like are so fleshed out in the Date-Just collection that continuos precious metal Explorers don’t make a lot of sense.

Enjoyed that bit of fun fellas. My AD has had only 1 blue motif 36mm come through since release and I own it , so go on the Rolex discontinue it lol. White dial Explorer would be cool but are they brave enough to give the classic black a partner , doubtful .

Perhaps we can ban Rolex people from the hobby, and encourage them to form a separate group of Rolexists? They could then follow the Rolexists holly mantra of only buy a watch to never wear it, or if you do wear it, wave it in other people's faces, while wearing a jacket that's cut half way up the arm. And if a normal person doesn't mention the Rolex during everyday interactions, then you can bring it up in conversation asking the 3 questions above? The Rolex Daytona Panda and GMT Pepsi will always be kept. They are most iconically popular Rolex stainless steel models. Continuously producing them simply lures more and more people to buy Rolex watches and most time end up buying precious metal models.
I’d love to see something else besides the YM in titanium from them and I do believe it will come. I’ve handled the new titanium YM and for a watch of this size it feels absolutely amazing. A sub or even GMT in titanium would be incredible.
