Chicago is one of the longest-running and best-selling groups of all time. Lifetime achievements of the legendary “rock band with horns” include being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, two Grammy Awards® and two American Music Awards. Record sales top 100M, including five #1 albums and 11 #1 singles.
Regardless of all the arguments that it's not the original seven or even the second or third generation band, you have to hand it to Chicago who still have 3 core members that have been there since 1967. Only a handful of bands can make that claim. And this tune shows the band still has the ability to turn out good tunes with great horn arrangements.
Agree!!! And during Covid no less - KUDOS TO EDITORS & PRODUCERS!! Artistry all around. Something excellent came out of Covid.
About 70% of the fanbase needs to think like this
The base will always love the original seven, but a lot of their players today are still excellent musicians and the cement foundation of the sound is still there and still rocking.
Those three core members are plenty good enough for me.
The fact is that it would most likely be four original members left if Walt Parazaider hadn't gotten sick. Even at that, having THREE guys of the original seven is darn good! How many people keep the same job for that many years?
One of the better tracks on Born for This Moment. There's still life in this beast!
This should have been lead off track on this amazeballs album!
Howland & Pankow have made this amazing gem of a masterpiece. But the magic is ND and his soaring voice. One of my 5 faves from this record.
Love Lamm...would have loved Champlin singing beginning!
Ocharme!
I grew up with you and few other singers and bands . Thanks jim
This 64-year-old woman has been jamming with you since you're beginning God bless you thank you for all your years of music Beautiful music also God promised that he would never flood the world again. That's why he gave us the rainbow as a reminder that he would never do it again. In the Bible in the Book of Revelation very last book of the Bible. God speaks that in the end it's going to be fire. I pray for all peoples I pray it's not too late and I also pray for all the people who are haters because they need it the most. I also pray for the ones that the devil has a hold of. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that Satan loosen his hold on you I don't want anyone to go to hell and if you continue your persecution of God's people I pray God has mercy on your soul I myself and wiping my my feet of the whole situation and walking away let God take care of it cuz he always takes care of me Hallelujah all glory and honor goes to God in heaven
this has got some grit and makes you listen! bits and pieces of the past that make ya smile.
It took a long time but they finally put the horn front and center again. Good job!
nice to hear something rocking on the new album
Aaah my my man channeling his inner I don't want your money vocal stylings, Dirty dirty stuff. Love it
So nice.
48 years of their music and it is still rockin!
2:04 THAT right there is the Chicago sound I know and love. Powerful horns and a nasty guitar solo 😎
Terry would have nailed the vocal.
🙃
Ocharme!
Reminds me of the "Old Days" style of music from Chicago. Great song and nice to see them still making music
Love this one!!
Awesome😍😍😍
This is awesome!! :)
Boom !!!💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
U zegt?? Boomi! Boom!! Boom!!
Nice 👍
Imagine Terry and Peter on this song...sorry, but fan since 1969 and can't let go...
Missing you Terry on vocals.........
Ocharme!
This song is TAILORMADE for Terry's vocals. Wish he was still us 😔
Kind of has Hot Streets vibe. Love it!
What if and if when and if who (à l' Anglaise)? aawhoo (op zijn Gents)! Voor mij is dit supergoed, en de kritikasters kunnen hun eigen spuuch opfretten!
I'll keep to the Old Stuff . This is NOT the Chicago that I've known and Loved all my Life
Have to agree this song should have been sung by Bill Champlin....such a shame he isn't in the band anymore. Oh well, great song anyways!
Nao entendo .... e outra coisa guarda por favor
If Champlain had sung this it would have been a real punch in the face ....but in a good way .
Ocharme!
True but Champlain tended to over sing his vocals, just sing it Bill as is, not a improvo band
Needed Champlin for this one. Robert’s got a great voice but the grit and growl was forced on this one.
I was thinking same thing
Or even Lou Pardini, too bad he didn't get to work on this album before he left.
Champlin couldn't sing it the same way twice!
@@tkathfan Exactly.
@@tkathfan which is a good thing. it's called creativity. try it someday
Lamm TRIES to imitate Champlin...and fails.
He wasn't at all.
Ocharme!
Lamm's been trying different effects with his voice since at least the third album from 1971. Listen to I Don't Want Your Money and you'll hear a similar effect.
@@sticks64 Also "Skinny Boy"
Finallly a typical Great Chicago-Song. The Electric influence in the other Songs i really don’t like!!!
🥀Amazing Song Brilliant lyrics, vocals and music oh yeah I love this song🥀👍
Great uptempo song
It sure rocks loud, but it is still pretty slow to be considered "uptempo."
This is the sound we wanted to hear of
GOD WINS ALWAYS LOL I THANK GOD EVERYDAY THAT OUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED BY HIM . THE ONLY THING I WANT FROM THIS WORLD IS PEACE AND LOVE . AFTER EVERYTHING THE FOSTERCARE SYSTEM PUT ME THROUGH AND THE EVIL PEOPLE !!! WOW THIS WORLD I HAVE COME TO BELEIVE IS DOOMED ! YEP REBA SHOULD HAVE NEVER TAKEN GOD FROM THE WORLD HE HAS BEEN WATCHING ALWAYS. HAPPY TO BE FREE FROM ALL THAT .BS
