Love this one. Regine also guested in their wyat homecoming concert last year. These boys moms look up to her. Here in the Philippines even in kindergarten, teachers encourage them to sing. Kids will sing together with their teacher and schools here always have programs. Class competing with each other, either song or dance contest. Regine was traines by his late father, she was asked to sing while her body is soaked in water. She does it inside the drum or at the beach where she will sing and all you can see is her head. Her father will walk farther away and he wanted Regine to sing aloud where he can hear her.

I've heard that they rehearsed it a few hrs before they sang it live..So the boys has to adjust their range in order for Ms Regine to sing the chorus part..Well, we know the SB19 boys how versatile they are..It may sound different from the original but I like how it went well especially on the part of Stell..Good job! 👍👍💖💖🥰🤗👏👏

At 56 years old Regine still belts as if she is in her early 20’s.. she is the queen of OPM ( original Pilipino music) every one in the music industry here in the Philippines looks up to her. She has influenced most young generation singer.. ❤❤❤

They were so good. I love how Stell belted his high notes. There was a bts of this performance and when Stell was practicing his part Pablo told him that he sounded like Gigi de Lana. Stell also said that it was one of a kind experience for them...
You should watch SB19 behind-the-scenes vlog about this performance. Pablo's reaction on Stell's and Ms. Regine's belting is priceless. Even Ken forgot to sing his part because he was so mesmerized. This just show that even the boys have a huge respect to OPM legends like Ms. Regine.

The Sunday noon time variety show All-Out- Sundays of the GMA Network has a counter part, ASAP Natin ' to, from ABS-CBN, which is where the SB19 performed with Ms. Regine Velasquez. That's where some of the most popular singers of the Philippines, like Morissette, Gigi de Lana, Darren Espanto, Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera and many other budding singers of today perform live.

In this performance because she is one of Stell's idol, he says if Ms Regine Velasquez belt he will do that also and he nailed it. The harmony of SB19 and Asias Song bird gave me goosebumps 🥰

Yes, karaoke is very useful thing in Filipino culture...in parties, reunion, family gatherings or in simple days with friends we use that. Much more in earlier times because people have no gadgets at all. That's why usually parents teached their kids music through karaoke, sometimes they put as on a table to perform. Even in other country you can see Filipino family's using karaoke in their special events. Thank you Josh and Lucas for your appreciation in Filipino talents and music we love it.

We did grew up listening to her songs and having SB19 perform with her was a blessing for them to be together and preformed well. She is a OPM Queen and Asia's song bird ❤ In this performance because she is one of Stell's idol, he says if Ms Regine Velasquez belt he will do that also and he nailed it.
Fun fact: Actually they only practiced right before their performance and re-arranged harmonies . Ms Regine is familiar with the song melody but re-arranged on the spot so that it can balance with everyone. Hope you guys can watch their vlog of this as it showed the behind the scenes. I'm pretty confident and proud to say that SB19's Hanggang sa Huli truly belongs to one of our OPM classics that are timeless. Alongside the songs of Ms. Regine, Gary V, Martin Nievera, Ogie Alcasid, Jose Mari Chan, Odette Quesada, Ric Segreto, Rey Valera, Nonoy Zuñiga, Rico Puno, Haji Alejandro, Ariel Rivera and many more... The lyrics and melody is very enchanting. No wonder Ms. Regine loves this song.
Finally, you reacted to it.😍❤️.. Thank you for reacting. Sb19 are always harmonizing. So, they are used to it, even if its hard to harmonize in 5 persons. How much more collaborating with the Asia's song bird. They have behind the scenes when preparing to it. Stell says, if Ms.Regine belt, he will belt also😀. And he nailed it. Fun fact: Production numbers in ASAP (the show where Regine and SB19 performed) are prepared only for a couple of days. Performers normally only have 1 day to prepare.

I've read somewhere before that they just practiced and made changes on the song's arrangement hours before the actual performance.. this was after they just guested on another program of the same tv station. Really awesome. I think SB19 Official uploaded some of the BTS in one of their TV guestings vlogs.

The duet was done during the pandemic so they had to do it remotely, and the upload isn't the best (with the bubble filter) but the performance was nonetheless iconic!
SB19 is the only boyband to survive a belting showdown with Regine Velasquez. Back in the 90s Regine turned US Boyband 98 Degrees into vocal-roadkill because their lead singer was so rude backstage. 😂 Thanks for the RV. This is one of my fav performances from last yr. 😊

You know, for a change of pace, you may want to listen to foreign artists sing Filipino songs. There’s Nicole scherzinger singing Pangako. She also has a duet with Regine singing Nandito ako. Then of course there’s Loren Allred’s rendition of Regine’s Araw Gabi whom you guys reacted to when Regine sang it in the Wishbus. The first 2 have an audio only track in youtube but Loren has some sort of music video for Araw Gabi.

Filipinos love singing that every kid we know who can sing are encouraged to sing by everyone. We support them and we become their audience at a very young age, they literally go in front and we have them sing and we all clap after they sing...and we give them all the praises.
