I’ve few friends who have strictly warned me against it as they have experienced even after putting 2-3 layers you won’t get much help. Instead buy Point zero jackets, usually available at winners and marshals for about $130-140 go with that.

this is not true, bhai kuch bhi bolo ge kya, mountain warehouse jackets are one of the most popular jackets in Canada. And they are good enough. No companies' jackets are going to protect you much unless it is made of down feather which costs around 300-500 dollars, rest all jackets are just to protect you for 5 to 10 minutes outside
