I thought it was strange that this pedal didn’t exist until now…I asked an engineer buddy to make one and asked my salesman at Sweetwater to ask around if one had been designed….now it has! verrrrrrrry coooool!!!!

Love the mission stuff. They do a great job and expressionator offers a lot of possibilities.

Hey, y'all, thanks for making this video, I've been droolin over the expressionator for a few months and it's nice to see it in action with clear tutorials. Pretty badass, guys.
Only thing holding me back was that it didn't seem inherently compatible with the Line 6 HX Stomp XL, but it turns out there's an adaptor dongle you can buy.
I have one question, though - Would using the "span" feature on the expressionator be the same as using a "range pot" on an expression pedal like the moog ep-3? Could I change the sweep from 2-3V instead of 0-5V by setting the heel the way y'all did in the video? Or is that just a different thing entirely? I'm still learning about all of this, so I barely know what I'm talking about, but this feature is important to me because of a pedal that I use that needs a different sweep than most others. Thanks!

Great question. I think so but I am not sure I’m qualified to give a definitive answer. The guys at Mission are wonderful. Definitely reach out and ask them. I’m sure they could answer this.

@@tejeguitar So the answer seems to be yes, that changing the range pot value on an expression pedal itself is the same as if you did it on the Expressionator. However, the expressionator would allow you to save your settings for three different pedals whereas just adjusting the range pot would only be for one. I actually bought an Expressionator a few weeks ago to use for a show, but it didn't end up working out because one of the pedals I needed to control has a broken exp. jack. But I still have the Expressionator because even though I haven't really used it yet, I keep thinking of ways it will definitely be helpful. It seems like a really worthwhile thing to have if you're trying to use expression on multiple pedals. So many functions that you can't even get with midi. So I'm keeping it and I'll just keep on learning cool uses for it. I think it's actually a really badass piece of gear. Hope all that was helpful. Let me know if you have more questions and I'll come back and answer as I learn

@@davidchaparro2517 thanks for the update! I had mine set up to control the speed on a strymon Lex. I adjusted the span for that one so it had the right slow at the heal and the right fast at the toe. It was also acting as a volume pedal with the vertex boost.
