  • Short notice: Unfortunately I do not take requests on this channel, mainly due to them being time consuming and sadly having a rather busy schedule. However, please enjoy the content I post and thank you for watching!
    ---------------------------------------------------
    As promised in the previous video of the Frigidaire, here is the Hotpoint 9530, washing a bulky load of clothes that are being donated to charity. Consisting of a heavy duffel coat, cotton shirts, shorts and a laundry bag too. Washed on Programme 6 - 40ºC Acrylics & Wool Mixtures.
    Following this, I update you on ideas for keeping this channel going and videos to upload too, regarding what I am trying to do to achieve the next milestone of 7,000 subscribers.
    Thank you and enjoy! :)

    When I was 11 back in 2012, my nan (on my dad's side) her next door neighbour who was an elderly woman living on her own... she used to own a Hotpoint 95450, which had Switchs and a Chrome door with dark handle attached.
    I was surprised that I came across it back then, - sadly never got to see it in action as I only went in her house that one-off time. Don't think she has it now.. also she had a dispute between my nan a few years ago and don't talk to each other anymore.
    Also was the 95450 an 800 model or an 1000 model?, I can't remember what speed it was now.
    Great video of the 9530 btw. 🙂

      Me too, the infamous "WHOOORRAAH!' as a 18/95 series takes off into spin.
      That signature GEC Motor sound will never be forgotten

    I’m back again! Sorry for not commenting on your videos for a while buddy, just never got round to it unfortunately 😅. I’ve watched your previous videos tho where you mentioned that you were pretty much stuck as to what to film nowadays, which is a shame tbh but life just happens like that ig. I do miss seeing Barbara getting up to her usual scare tricks too 😂. But anyways have I missed anything else?

      Well well well, look who's come back from the Arctic blizzards of the North Pole! I guess global warming is melting the ice caps enough to sail you back to England for a bit.
      Yeah unfortunately when you're very limited on space or conditions etc it does get extremely hard to find things to film that'll keep everything going.
      You might have also missed that DJ Apple Halal is opening up a new shop where he flogs illegal B&M Bargains rejected stock, but he will only tell you he's a Forklift Truck operator with no license...

    Why is there only one intermediate spin by the way good video

    • @HooverA3060
      @HooverA3060  2 роки тому +1

      It's most likely because Hotpoint include the "Stepped Cooldown" as a separate rinse, so in their manuals it'll state the machine does 3 rinses but, the Synthetics is actually 2 rinses only. So the cooldown rinse is after the main wash, therefore it won't spin after the wash. It doesn't do good for rinsing though

    Hi. I’ve got a 9536 (door handle points other way) that I’m trying to keep going! It’s started blowing the door open at the end of the rinse cycle as the motor kicked in. Any ideas? Spins fine.

    Washing up liquid wont kill the machine ive done it in my machine it just overfomes

    • @HooverA3060
      @HooverA3060  2 роки тому +1

      No, I didn’t say it would kill the machine at all. I said DISHWASHER soap and bath salts will kill the spider as some of it is corrosive. But washing up liquid is pointless because all the Miele does is cut on the first attempt with sudslocks

    Have try Amazon for USA washing detergent I have bought so gain over frist lockdown

    • @HooverA3060
      @HooverA3060  2 роки тому

      Yeah I did have a look at their detergent range, however the shipping costs getting them over here can be a lot and a lot of the time the boxes get damaged, which is why I'm very untrustworthy of USA shipping. The powder ones especially are quite pricey altogether, costing a lot more than any UK detergent I buy

      @@robinsaunders5099 Yeah, it's probably the powder that has a higher price or fee etc.
      Yeah I've seen that powder in Morrisons too, but tbh getting it would be great but it wouldn't mean anything to film though, whereas USA detergent has a lot more reasons to film it

    Try and do more transport videos, and come back to wash videos when there is new stuff to film.

    • @HooverA3060
      @HooverA3060  2 роки тому +2

      It's a good suggestion, but railway videos don't really get any views, or anywhere as many views as the Washer videos, which is what I need in order to keep the subs going and the revenue each month. As my channel isn't a dedicated Rail channel, it doesn't get listed in related videos.
      Also with transport it's also difficult finding routes to travel that I haven't already done or, older trains have now been replaced that I once would film.
      Washing videos won't have anything new to film unless I get close to 7K subs when I can then hopefully find a Washer Dryer.

    How come you don't use a dosing ball?

    • @HooverA3060
      @HooverA3060  2 роки тому +1

      Because a dosing ball isn’t traditional to these machines. I only use machines as their original form and the method on a Hotpoint 95 series for liquid was to use the original Hotpoint dispenser
